Honeslty I totally get where your coming from but seriously if your genuinely interested in something, at least give it a try. I just recently got back into skateboarding (I skated way back when I was like 10-12) and while it scared me for awhile that I would hurt myself (just got outta of a neck brace less than a month ago from a fractured disc) after I committed and took the time to learn it was amazing
I do not like wide bars.i need closes every thing to the frame for tight compacked instant torque power.I use cable brakes because i do not use breaks.I have a bigger slick tire in the back and a smaller tredy tire in front so its light.I always need instant top speed torque up hills around a massive town.I always use the same gear.I use lowest front gear and 3rd top gear in back on 18 speed.I use exstra short bars for instant top speed.I loosen the back tire bolt for fast smooth costing.I do not have center shock because its usless for .i need full power in back tire with out energy lost.i do need a front sgock for sure.

@@comment__ your comment is true for good riders. For majority of the population (who can't even ride or perhaps master the kind of balance needed to navigate this terrain), it's false. Majority of humans will find it easier and less riskier navigating this terrain by foot.
