In Russia and some other countries it called Hydroblading, name origin from figure skating

I have two necessary words to say: THANK YOU I have much more words I want to say: I ice skate in Chicago, and someone that was kind of linked to XEO Lifestyle came to Millenium Park once. She showed me kind of how to do this, but I had trouble getting really low (hehe....that sounds a bit weird), this video is helping A LOT, so if I may re-iterate the above necessary words, "THANK YOU!"

I finally worked out how to do this a few months ago after watching your videos for a while. But I do have a problem - when I go down, I put a lot of weight on my right arm so I can twist my waist and this causes a lot of drag which slows me down. Do you have any tips around how to get the last low part without leaning too much onto your hands?

Skate decoration/painting tutorial? In a previous vid your t-blades looked awesome, and I want to decorate my skates in a similar fashion.

+Melica Mage Hi. It's no big deal. The decals you see here is a printed foil which is called (as I remember) 3D foil, this means it can warp to different shapes. Anyway, what I did is just to go in a printing company and printed a few decals and they installed them on my skates. My previous skates are spray painted. I went to a local store to buy some paint and sprayed it.

+Eyeskel Davison thank you, that's very nice to hear. I'm working on to gain popularity for freestyle harder than ever. Some tricks are new, some already existed in figure skating, there are a lot of name variations for most of them. We (you and me) are the first generation who discovered it. And yeah, ice skating is better than anything. It feels so good to go to the rink and just skate for hours.

Hahahaha That same move is called "hydroblading" in "tradicional, conservative figure skating". It is usually meant to complete a full circle.

just tried it at home, had to put a big ammount of load into my arms to hold the position.... is this right or should it be easier to hold??

it's right at home, on the ice it will be easier once you have the right momentum. The whole position should be very integrated, every body part plays a role in it, except maybe the left arm if you are doing in the same direction as me in the video

hi....i buy new skates and the blade is sharp i want to ask what is better the sharp blade for braking like you at the videos or just blunt blade....because at my old skates i can do it easy but on new i can't do it and its take about 1-3 metres to stop????

+KingFreaK Hi. It depends on what you call better. Easier or faster? I tested 2 different blades in my sharpening video, both have advantages and disadvantages and breaking is really just one aspect to look at. I suggest you to check out that video, the name is "Custom Sharpenings: Maximizing Turn Speed"

I use freestyle skiing gloves (snowboard would be the same, I just know skiing brands). They are very durable, thin and water resistant until a certain level. These yellow gloves are Armada, previous pair was Dakine. Don't buy "fashion" brands like DC, I tried once, threw into the trash after 3 weeks.
