Example for your next compilation do you think you could set up a ceiling shot, then type “smile, you’re on camera” then hit it. I know it’s tough but that would be so sick
I totally understand his terminology when he says he needs to be less "committed", after having significant car control you see opportunities to go for flip resets and air dribbles where they would be cool, but too inefficient for his rank. It's a clash of his freestyling mindset versus players that require him to play at a faster speed, the inner muscle memory comes out at like 16:10
Hey evample, I’m very Sick at the moment and haven’t smiled a single time today, but the moment I saw this video, I smiled. Thanks for helping me and other people get threw hard times with this amazing content. I love you bro❤ keep it up
From what I can recall, he was stricter about it before, but many of his fans wanted him to not lose and he acquiesced to their wish more and more. I don't like it, but he does freestyle a lot which is still damn impressive and entertaining.
Evample, I’m a GC1 and I need an advice from a KBM legend like you. I need to reach your outstanding level of control, do you recommend switching from DS5 controller to KBM? I would risk it all man, your control is awesome 😢
@@xGEOxSDx He's been #1 more than once. Years ago when GC was the highest rank he would always be very high top 100 and i would assume #1 in OCE every season. I'm pretty sure he's been a crazy 1's player for longer than he has been a freestyler.
freeplay with goals essentially. There is also training packs you can do that put your car outside the map. Why would you want to do this? because you can fly between things (Once again, give yourself goals. ).... Also muscle memory is a key factor in this. If you see something you want to emulate, Slow the yt video down to .25 speed. Really pay attention to what the car is doing, and then try to do it in free play mode. Just practicing the motions. not need to have the ball yet just to practice motions. I also like to do slow motion for complicated mechanics that require multiple inputs to execute. My brain isn't made that way So I pick those up the slowest. So I create a custom match, no bots, and turn on modifier Slo-mo and go and just prove to myself that I got the motion down at least of what Needs to be done to execute the move. Then after that it's just grinding. Even though I'm PC, I barely use custom maps. Only used it for a bit of air roll training in the rings map, but I prefer freeplay.
I think I’m going to convert to keyboard and mouse after 300 hours on controller and a diamond I find my self constantly screwing up certain movements even after doing them over and over I’ve always been a pc player the joysticks I’m just not precise with of course I’m better at everything on controller currently can do very quick aerials good aerial control ceiling shots etc but the second I tried keyboard it just felt better like I could feel my car I’m going to try it out and see if I exceed my current d3 rank I’ve tried speed flipping for hundreds upon hundreds of times on controller I can do it but it’s not optimal speed flips musty speed flip training pack I can’t touch the ball in the first shot selection
i hate the rocket league community for the fact that 90% of the tutorials on the game are provided by english bloggers, and only for controller users like xbox and playstation. And after all, no one cares about this, although according to statistics, 60% of the players are computer users.
