In this clip, Freeway Ricky opened up to VladTV about being cellmates with Death Row co-founder Harry O for the better part of a year. He explained that he was looking at magazines that Harry O had in the cell, which is where he learned that Dr. Dre was having financial issues and beefing with Eazy E. It was then that Freeway Ricky encouraged Harry O to get in touch with Dr. Dre, which was a challenge, seeing as neither of them knew Dre and they only had 15 minutes of phone time. However, they got a connection to Suge Knight, which is when Harry O began planning out Death Row records with Suge. Freeway Ricky also spoke about getting in touch with Suge when he got out of prison in 1993, and he explained that he didn't work with Suge out of respect for Harry O.

How do you know this? I don't think Suge needed much encouragement to cut Harry off; he stole from a lot of people and bullied others (Eazy, Vanilla Ice) out of legit contracts. Harry being locked up meant Suge didn't have to worry about paying him.
