Nicely done video Rich, as i said on the boozer show we like how she flies a little nose heavy. mainly helps a lot at low speed and landing so she will not nose up on you. looking forfard to seeing you maiden!

it flew great on the first flight, but the elevator horn pulled out of the elevator on about the fifth pass and it went in:( Manufacturing flaw. it flew beautifully and I plan to put out the crash video and a successful flight of it at some point:)
Finish does not look that great, especially given its price. I noticed the landing gear doors leave quite a lot space when closed. The foam texture is horrible (imho), they should have painted it.
Nice review! Question for you- I'm looking at buying my first EDF. Which do you prefer if that's a reasonable question, Motion RC Stinger 90 or HSD Viper Pro 90 V2? Thanks!
I prefer the Stinger 90... also look at the FMS FUTURA 80mm, FREEWING 80mm AVANTI, and FMS AVANTI 70mmm... I have flown them all! they are all excellent flyers with wide flight envelopes. they all are 6s powered fast models with excellent slow speed performance.
Rich , Wes told me that you had a " BAD " issue with your F-104 at Nall in the fall , W T F happened ?? I had a issue with the ELE control horn coming loose on mine , repairable ..
Yea, same thing here... elevator horn pulled out of the foam... I was pissed because it was flying Beautifully:) Flew about 5 circuits until the horn pulled out:(
I'm not sure on how to change it with out making it look ugly, , a diffferent horn install, useing a two piece horn , just would ugly up the airplane , But it would work to fly it ..
@@craigbeaven8445 It is already back together... I have to spend time replacing ALL the horns as they are All falling out. Not enough glue was used at the factory to install the horns & there is very little surface area on the plastic horn... not a good design for a elevator horn:(
The rear finish is great... the forward finish on mine was a mold problem... the foam beads did not seem to fully expand into the mold resulting in a imperfect finish... it may not be a systemic issue.
