Just a summary of the landings and a few crashes with the F-104. Hopefully this will help those who will be flying this bird. These are not all of the crashes; two more can be found on my other F-104 90mm videos.

Did you ever figure out the reason for the thrust interruption? What was the fix? My AL37 suffered a similar fate, repairable, but not sure if I want to do the work if it will happen again.

Did I detect a J-79 howl around the 3 min mark?

Yes the jet had a sound system installed.

@@buddy1065 Well it's a fantastic sound system. Only some of us have the class and style to recognize that sound.

Hi Bill,Doug, Both yours 90 & 70mm F104 fly so stable in slow speed, do you have a stabilizer (gyro) in your jets?

Please do you have any tip on how to land it? How much throttle do i have to apply? Flaps? Thanks in advance

If you have ever flown the FW 90mm F-16 it lands similar to that. Half flaps or no flaps for landing if runway long enough. Maiden it slightly nose heavy. Once it is trimmed practice touch and goes as if to land in order to get used to an actual landing. Don't wait till the last minute to do start doing this. Fair warning.
