2021 just got one, it is the most affordable 4s EDF with retracts and flaps. it is very similar to eflite habu but cost less with flaps and retracts.

And another point to look for, contrary to advertising info for this model NOT all control surfaces have nylon hinges, they seem to have overlooked elevators and flaps, bit misleading really.

What kind of battery capacity do you use? The 2200 lifts the plane's head.

This jet is very easy to fly compared with scale, military edf's, which are more challenging.

The Scorpion 80mm and the 90mm Venom. Both are great flyers and can kick your butt on landings until you figure them out. Thanks Jeff.

Motion RC Yes, I luv the Venom and eventually want to try the Scorpion. The Venom flies on rails, but as you say, the landings can be a challenge. It seems prone to wing-tip stalls on a go-around, so be ready for that. But the Swiss red and white Venom is a thing of beauty!!

Go with the Rebel. More part availability, better manufacturer. Shes a great starter jet

Jonathan Hatfield If the grass is well manicured the Rebel should do fine. You can always increase the elevator endpoint or travel adjustment and get a little more pitch out of her which can help you get off. a slightly larger front tire may help you as well AOA

+Motion .My freewing rebel had a stripped landing gear right out of the box. Hard to believe it's going to hold up to landing much less grass runways.

No, retracts very weak, and that's if you get one that isn't damaged or has stripped retract worm drive like mine was straight out of the box, and replacement had faulty ESC, as ive said......Junk, QA seems to not exist.
