My MacBook keeps crashing when I am clicking 'set', when trying to add the printer to wifi. Do you know what I might be doing wrong? I have added the WIFI name and password correctly and tried all the different options. Also, the website you gave to check your wifi information is not working for me :(

Hey, I have been trying to contact FreeX through email and facebook, sadly they are not getting back to me about clogged print head issue. Do you have any idea how "healthy" the company is? I have tried what the FAQ and actual printer says.

Help please? Just bought printer. Says one label will feed automatically then you can push feed and it will advance one label automatically. This one is advancing like 1/2 an inch at a time. Went through 3 labels as test?

The FREEX thermal printer does not appear in my printer/scanner, system preferences, even after installing the driver/toolbox numerous times. Please advise.

FYI, I bought the freex and their app still won't work on Android as promised. Have to use it on desktop.

I followed the steps in the video, which instruct us to go into Printing Preferences, then go into the Halftone tab and change the default setting from Disperse to None. The first time I did that, great, it worked, solved my problem. I did not have much labels to print, generally I may only use the printer a few times a week so I turned it off. A couple of days later, I turned it on, printed a shipping label and it came out too light and very fuzzy again, as if it was on the Disperse setting. I went in and checked and saw that it was still the correct settings. I tried a few times, then decided to push the slider all the way to the right, to Dark. When I printed it with this setting, it seemed to be back to normal, no longer coming out light, it was normal darkness again. I turned off the printer as I did not need to print again, a couple of days later I needed to print, the setting was still at the darkest setting for halftone however it reverted back to printing light and very fuzzy again. This time I can no longer push the slider any darker. At the top of the FAQ page it said: "If you encounter any unexpected issue at any time, please simply factory reset the FreeX." I did as instructed to reset it to factory by opening the lid, then pressing the "Feed" button for a full 20 seconds while the lid was open and listened for the longer beep. The printer reset, and I had to go through the WiFi set again. The printer was still listed as both usb and wifi, I removed wifi, left the usb printer listed and plugged in to the PC and started at the step for setting up the printer as a new printer using the WiFi instructions. Once I finished the set up, I unplugged the printer from usb and attempted to print the label again via wifi and I got the same results. I tried all settings, Light, 0 and Dark, all gave almost the same result (the dark setting was slightly darker but still light). I also tried printing while plugged in via usb, selecting the usb printer instead, there was no difference, it came out light even if I made the slider in the halftone tab dark. I am now attempting to leave the printer on, not turning it off anymore, but I don't know if that will fix the problem. It seems the calibration settings of brightness gets screwed up when I turn it off for a few days then back on again. Could the printer be defective? Is there a way to reset the brightness so it goes back to normal? Doing a factory reset did not seem to do the trick, I am still getting the light print outs. Have you encountered this issue before? Is there a fix? Any advice, tips would be appreciated. Thank you,

The Ethernet step doesn’t work for me. It prints out a blank page and I can’t get the NEW IP address. Freex has NO phone number. By email they cannot understand my problem. Waste of a money. Don’t buy.

@thecollegepicker please stop promoting this company. They are unresponsive and shady AF. It’s been a month since I ordered. Still no tracking or order status updates. They don’t respond to emails either. Are they even in business still?
