When I do onions and garlic I always put slices of bread over them to absorb the smell then I put them through the food processor when done and I have freeze dried bread crumbs. I use them in meatloaf and it came out great.
There was a whole bunch of boxes of stuffing for sale at a local grocery. I bought a whole bunch. I didn’t think to freeze dry them. I did take out of box and used oxygen absorber in Mylar.
