Hello everyone during this summer I head trackside to see interesting things, saw a good variety of trains around different locations in San Diego, CA. Highlights in this video are: CREX/CITIRAIL 1427 leased by BNSF, BAJA Railroad #3905 and LTEX #3814, Amtrak Siemens Chargers Test train. Union Pacific #8229, BNSF 1019, Arizona and California Railroad #3112 & BNSF EMD SD70ACe #9115.
Starting off catching some trains in San Diego, CA. BNSF heading south to National City with a CREX/Citirail #1427 leased by BNSF, back at Old town we catch a few Amtrak Pacific Surfliner’s and Coasters departing and arriving into San Diego, CA.
A few days later I got word 2 Geeps from Mexico owned by the Baja Railroad left on the manifest, the locomotives are leased and are headed back to Larry’s in Lordstown, OH. These locomotives spent a few years in Mexico until they’re lease was expired.
The future is around the corner, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner has started testing one of the newest diesel and electric Siemens Chargers locomotives along the Surfline completing two runs. notice on the second run they flipped the power around.
Wrapping up this video I head out trackside to see some more Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, Coaster, BNSF, San Diego Imperial Valley Railroad and also some visitors visiting the Surfline such as Union Pacific #8229, BNSF #1019 & BNSF #9115
