Beautiful work Austin! Well shot and you got some great angles there. It certainly looks different to when I was there in June 15, dry and windy but still a great thrill for this Aussie BNSF modeller..LOL They were just starting earthworks on the Waylon siding extension and its cool to see it finished. A excellent video which I will have to watch again. Can't wait to get back over there1 Cheers Gregg.

While the drought appears to be over based on the hills seen in the video I don't think it actually is. The hills are already starting to fade to brown/tan as temps rise and the rain disappears again
Thanks. I like to make it a point to head up there in the late part of winter because the green hills are always cyclical. Normally you'd see the California Wildflower all throughout the hillsides but when I went I think it was too cold for them to bloom that day. At the time of the opening shot in the video my phone told me it was 25 degrees with windchill.
