We spent 4 months camp hosting at Utah's Fremont Indian State Park. The park manager said during his interview that this is a hidden gem, and we fully agree!
Hiking, camping, viewing rock imagery, visiting a museum, fishing, riding ATVs, or just sitting and relaxing surrounded by beautiful scenery -- this park quickly became one of our favorite places.
In this video, we dive into all there is to see and do, plus we interviewed the park manager and the park's archaeologist/curator for their insights into what makes Fremont Indian State Park unique.
.
In the video, we mention hiking the Joe Lott trail. You can find that video here: • Join Us For a Day Hike...

Would you consider doing a video of 'day/week in the life of a camp host". I'm curious. What a great experience for you and to stay in one area for an extended period it's a dream of mine but not now.

Yes, we've thought about doing that, so we'll add it to the list. It can change quite a bit from place to place, but we could cover the basics. Thanks for watching and commenting; we appreciate it!

Four months is quite a bit of time. Good thing Ideal Dairy is close by for all your ice cream needs. What about Jessi's champagne and caviar requirements?🍦🍾🥂🤔

Enough ice cream and the caviar and champagne go by the wayside LOL

Looks kind of bleak and barren.

It's actually quite beautiful when you see the rocks, the mountains, and more in the area.
