French Chocolate Cake Recipe | Gâteau Au Chocolat, Classic Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
Unsalted butter 125g
Chocolate 70% 125g
Sugar 100g
Plain flour 35g
Egg 2 ( room tempreture)
A pinch of salt

Today I'd like to make a very easy and delicious chocolate cake
I've tried other recipes, but this one gave me the most satisfying results
This recipe comes from the famous chef Pierre Hermé
I can't believe that just with 5 ingredients, you can achieve such a masterful level of deliciousness.
Also it's super easy and less one hour to prepared
It's very moist inside
You can really feel the intense chocolate flavor.
Methods
Firstly, Greese the butter on the mould . Place parchment paper on top
it will make it easier to remove from the mould later. Prepare the 125g of butter cut into small pieces and cut also chocolate. And melt using a double boiler method add in sugar. Then cool it down to around 35 degrees Celsius. And add the eggs separately and whisk enenly. Add the sifted flour on it and a pitch of salt. Stir evenly with a spatula, fold evenly from bottom to top. Then slowly pour the batter into the mould
Baked to oven 180C for 22~25 mins. After the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold. you can garnish with icing sugar before serve
The best time to enjoy it is right after it's baked and cooled, with a hint of warmth still lingering inside.
If refrigerated afterward, it develops a different flavor profile
