France from 1880 to 1914. La belle époque we call it here. Art nouveau architecture. Impressionist paintings with Monet, Renoir, Manet. Post-romantic music with Ravel, Satie, Saint Saëns, Debussy, Bizet, Massenet... So much fantasy.
I've been listening to this music and waves for many nights to help me rest. I struggle to fall asleep because of pain. I read a few comments for the first time tonight and my heart was warmed within me. To those who come after me and read my comment, allow yourself to be encouraged by the words of others here. Let your heart, mind, and body be put at ease, at lest for the night. You are not really alone.
It frankly offends me that masterpieces like these can only be heard in public in places like toilets. Why can't they broad cast this through loud speakers and radios or TVs every morning and evening?! I'd be a much happier person of that happened!
Clair de Lune is the most beautiful piece of music ever written. I love listening to it. It is so enchanting. Transports me to a world of peace and love.
We camped on this side of that causeway in 1974, walked over the next day, A magical trip that one, three weeks on the Continent, two more in Britain, camping all the way. Wonderful memories and the photo a perfect accompaniment to this glorious music.
Never appreciate so much about the healing power of such amazing classical music, I used to be a contemporary musician. Just wishing for getting to know these classics earlier. Thanks for sharing these more precious than gem stones for its priceless value in all times!
Beautiful music from a beautiful country. Please forgive the trite words. If any French people read this, thank you for sharing your treasures with the world. I just returned from there. I miss it already. Much love and appreciation from California. Thank you also to Halidon Music for your selections. Peace and love always.

The end of XIX and the beginning of XX were the best time ever of France. The scientists, composers, painters... The public in general on footages of Paris' streets seems like an alien civilization...
What a wonderful way to spend my evening listening to French Impressionist music. This music reminds me of listening to my sister play the piano so beautifully when we were growing up. It is so relaxing! I have been marking bowings for a concert and feel really peaceful instead of stressed.
Yes! Why can't we hear all this beautiful Music in Public areas, Shopping Malls Bars & Cafes. Every Shop you enter sounds like a Disco. Mercie Bouquet for this selection.

Depends on nothing... it's normand : built by the Normands and defended by the Normands. Strictly nothing is Breton. Unfortunatly, politicians can change old history.

I can't help but think that the background looks a bit like the kingdom Rapunzel lived at in the movie "Rapunzel". It might just be me. But a wonderful playlist anyhow, thanks for posting! Hope everybody has a wonderful day.

Jesus a.s. was a Muslim (English: someone who submits to God) and believed in only one God (Allah). The creator of the heavens and the earth. The God of Abraham, Moses and David (peace be with them). I invite you to Islam, the religion of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed saws. The religion of true and pure monotheism. Wishing you all the best 🤲
This is so beautiful and moving to my Spirit right now, It brings tears to my eyes of times with romantic lovers! All great. All passed onward too soon! 🙏

if I could put words into music in this day an age I would be lost. When I listen to such classical music as this, I am lost for words so therefore there are no words that can read. I love is the only words for this. xx
