In this video I show what I eat when I'm at my office for lunch but also for dinner. Nothing fancy as these days I don't have so much time to cook and eat. But it's real life...
Disclaimer: this is my way of eating. I'm french but I don't claim showing what all the french typically eat. I like eating and cooking very simple ingredients (no processed foods), cooking from scratch quick and easy meals. I eat pretty low carb too.

Rooibos and Earl Grey are different teas.

Hello. Yes I know. Rooibos is the red tea and Earl grey the flavor. It's very rare in France to find a Rooibos made with an Earl grey flavor. In general you find regular black tea. Thanks for watching. Have a nice day ☺️

Hello. It's quite weird but at lunch I like things really simple and without too much taste (apart from the cheese). So yes I eat without sauce but I eat a piece of cucumber and a piece of cheese at the same time. Have a nice day

How much time are you allowed for lunch?

Hello. In general I take 30 to 45 minutes. The only rule at my office is to work 8 hours a day. We can organize our time as we want as long as it does not interfere with the proper functioning of the service. Have a good day 😊

I note that you don't eat bread at lunch. Cheese for dinner dessert, while Americans like to gorge on sugary items.

Hello. Indeed, I don't eat bread at every meal. In fact I went very low carb for a while in an attempt to cure my migraines. Now I have a medicine for my migraines but I kept the habit to eat pretty low carb as I do pretty well by eating this way. Thanks for watching ☺️

Enjoyable lunch! A key takeaway is that you walk for 45 minutes ( on the days you go to office) so exercise is built into your daily routine.

@@Zizo629 yes it is very complicated to eat healthy at lunch. In France, there are often catering services in companies that are not bad and not too expensive, but otherwise they are only sandwiches or quiches that are not good and not healthy at all. Have a nice day

do you not use an ice pack for the lunch? Or is it unnecessary? I usually put an ice pack with my packed lunches since they have vegetables or hard boiled eggs

Hello. No I don't use ice pack, it stays fresh enough. And then it would be heavy in my bag in which I already have my laptop. In winter I sometimes bring me a hot dish that I reheat before leaving home and I have a specific container to keep it warm. Have a nice day
