Why are European democracies not allowed or denied their right to remain who they are .....India is Indian , China is Chinese, Japan is Japanese but heaven for bid a European country who allows and facilities people from other countries who they have welcomed and at the same time not wishing to lose their sense of who they are its a complete joke.
Perhaps former colonial people have a claim to French citizenship? Homogeneous countries still have partisan politics and identities. As for India, there are huge sectarian divisions over religion and the caste system, whereby some minorities are seen as less Indian. China also has multiple ethnic identities, Han, Manchu, Tibetan, Uighurs, Bai, Pumi, etc, and two major languages Mandarin and Cantonese.
@@FigelNarage Why do people use colonization as a reason as to why the colonized HAVE a right to move to the colonizers native land? I'm actually curious...
We know how much of a raging lefty she is from her shows on GBNews. They tried to balance the channel out by getting her on board, but she is uber left wing.
Kamal: "without immigration they'd be no growth' Maybe once that was true, when we had people more of our Christian culture. I don't care about growth if it means those coming don't give a tuppenny toss about our culture, our traditions, our cultural holidays our values and our way of life.
33.2% every third French, the majority in the countryside voted RN. And the left and the center allied in no time against the strongest block shouting FAR right. That attitude of the center and the left is FUNDAMENTALIST and is organised by a media machine. The two round voting system is HEAVILY biased towards coalitions. Same as the two round presidential system. The union of the right is unavoidable. The Patriots for Europe group will help rebrand Le Pen, Kickl, Babits, Salvini, maybe Fico and others who join. And the cordonne sanitaire that prevented the union of the right will be broken.
The guests pointed out the Left Alliance was a combination of centre left parties and the hard left. The difference is the far-left tend to accept the label, whereas fascists seem to think "fascism" is an insult.
@@BobWilliamson-to3xp isn’t there an MP from TUV, closely allied to Reform?? Or was until Farage endorsed two other candidates. TUV have Reform logo with TUV.
No they are not, but the leftist fascists will do anything to remain in power. Falsehood is what they use to convince people they are the right choice.
I’m so sick and tired of people tossing about the far right this the far right that. It’s a very inaccurate labeling of people grouping any one with mild or moderate conservative beliefs in with far right anarchism. Just because people want to hold on to their culture and history and be patriotic doesn’t mean they are far right extremists. Seems to me they the far right has cause and reasons to become violent but they haven’t it’s the far left extremists who have exhibited violence against not only Jewish people but British white Anglo-Saxon people let’s start talking about that more often instead of kowtowing to the far left extemists and terrorists supporters. Get a bloody clue!!!
France is officially in recession and has been since May. Only Canada is doing worse. Personally, I've put my Paris apartment up for sale since the elections were called. I have 2 other passports - 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇭 - a son in Spain 🇪🇸 and work online. Bank accounts already transferred abroad, perfectly legally. I'm a very middle income earner, save that I own my apartment, have my own business. A minimum wage of 1600 euros means I'd go bankrupt if I wanted to hire someone. My retirement age is already 67, has been since previous president Hollande.
Can’t imagine anyone having a U.S. passport and not choosing to live in the US if they are still of working age/need. Earn in the US, retire in the EU.
Cool story.. I’m doing the exact same thing in reverse. I’m moving from Hungary to France because of this election outcome. Already transferred my $43 million in assets to French banks.. Will be putting all my business there.
People of France will read a book 50 years down the line that “THERE WAS A FRANCE” in their new country “ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF FRANCE”…. France - Your days are over. La Ila ilililaah… 😂😂😂😂
Reform is pushing the same economic policies as Liz Truss, so if that's "hope" I'll take despair instead. He can promise anything because he's not in power. When pressed on how he'll achieve his aims he folds like a broken deckchair.
Scotland and NI don't reckon so. They are wide awake and don't need reformed by the Clacton crusader. Reform parliament and get rid of the mediaeval pantomime rehtoric. Do that and the 4 nations won't need hope.
From my activist experience with UKIP and Reform over the last thirty years the electorate who identify as being on the Right are not generally prepared to engage in activism. Those of the Left are prepared to engage in political activism to get what they want and they are successful too. In short, those on the Right should not be looking to what Reform can do for them but what they can do for Reform. Those of a Right wing persuasion need to find their cojonnes and engage in activism or they will be crushed and they only have themselves to blame.
@@conr2141 Your'e wrong, I'm not rooting for anyone. None of them are worth voting for, the whole system is rigged. They are all puppets getting their orders from the WEF, so they can implement The UN Agenda 2030, where we all own nothing and are (apparently) happy.
@@conr2141 Yeah but the French electoral system is actually designed ("rigged") to prevent extremist parties from gaining a majority. Multi-round elections facilitate strategies like tactical voting and bloc formation for the express purpose of favoring centrist and liberal coalitions in the final tally.
Stop calling them far right they are the French people speaking up for there country the ones who actually love there country, just like the REFORM party in England and the people who follow them
Is this the Telegraph or the Guardian? When asked what the host thought of the first days of a labour government, she said, "I'm loving it." This is a Conservative journalist, supposedly. On top of this her co host said "frankly without migration we wouldn't have had any economic growth". What absolute rubbish. I think I'll watch Guardian podcasts in future. This is the worst of the Right. I just wish we could vote these out too.
Kamel could hardly tell the truth about immigration which is just repeating the Bank of England misplaced and inaccurate ideology that all immigration is good whereas the truth is, integrating new arrivals if they are even willing to integrate, costs an eye watering £90 billion, with strains across all the infrastructure.
I don't think this lady (host) understands how the french 2 round system works... And her "analysis" is all over the place. Also the « expert » is pretty off the mark. Because we have a 2 round voting system doesn’t mean there’s anything « proportional » involved. The final result this time is quite exceptional and so now they (the different groups) will have to learn to make compromises to move forward. Anyways, journalists and their experts really shouldn’t talk « on air » about stuff the don’t understand
This is an exciting opportunity for the French to reunite around the classical ideas of the Enlightenment, such as Liberty, Equality and Democracy, built on common ground. This discussion raised an important issue, where does money come from? What is the history of central banking, and the global financial system? Why is every single country in the world in debt? Another important issue is how we can overcome our dependence on fossil fuels which are running out, and also fresh water.... Can we overcome self-destruction?
Beneficiaries of overseas colonies were usually a small number of merchants looking for safety in their travels from their own govt. Not the general population. Countries which have been self governing for over 50 years are not due welfare at the cost of current tax payers. By denying welfare to economic migrants, it insures people who do arrive in Europe are self funding. This is a typical expectation in other countries outside Europe. A number of countries would also expect immigrants to arrive with a minimum amount of capital, like $100k, in return for a visa .
Housing targets will never be hit.....are they planning to arrest the owners of house building companies if they miss a target? Is there a target on migration? Are there going to be departmental arrests if a migrant target isn't met? There a lot of "we're going to do this" and "we're going to do that" saying this stuff is easy.....delivering is difficult. If just saying the stuff is "Hitting the ground running" then there will be a lot of very deluded Labour voters fairly soon. I suspect we will get more money spent, little delivered, more abuse of the word "mandate" and lots of excuses about how they have inherited the UK at it's worst since the 50's.
@@peterjermey7235 yes they are.........we will have fewer prisoners (don't remember that in their manifesto) when what we actually need are fewer criminals......but don't worry because the police are hard at work babysitting protesters of issues that aren't even in the UK........and we will have fewer illegal migrants because they will just term all migrants legal and of course that won't attract more migrants....I guess the 1.5 million new homes is actually for the migrants.
Why did that hard-faced woman shake head violently when she uttered the name Marine Le Pen at 00.15? Does she violently shake her head when saying Kier Starmer? No, then she'd genuflect.
The French have borrowed so many English words. The word for the weekend is le weekend, but in Quebec it is fin de semaine, literally 'end of week' or 'look" used in the fashion sense such as Spring's new looks. Only fair I suppose since we've borrowed so many of theirs.
Can we talk about the brain drain half a million Brits emigrated last year. I see many more going. If we are to build all this housing stock will it effect house prices. How do we rain in the price of housing it's become unaffordable for younger people.

Si on demande à Gabriel Attal de rester pour l instant, c est, comme lui même l a annoncé, les Jeux Olympiques de Paris étant très proches en France, logiquement un minimum de stabilité des institutions, de la Sécurité Intérieure est nécessaire cet été
France, like many other countries, suffers from a poverty of spirit. This is confused for a poverty of material wealth but objectively France is materially wealthy. The USA is much farther down this path. After all, the poorest people get housing, food, hot and cold running water, toilet and bathing facilities. The king of France in the 1800’s didn’t have this real material wealth available to the poorest people today. We need human contact not stuff.
Of the two French ladies, the first one doesn’t seem ‘very French’ nor very English either…whither that Gallic charm? Maybe a bit too boastful bordering on a certain arrogance…And her colleague has picked up more than two instances of ‘the glottal stop’ indicative of the English company kept.
The far right is the far right, just as a lemon is a lemon. Those who support extreme right-wing views often lack understanding. Economically, right-wing ideology favours small government and aims to preserve the status quo, while being socially conservative. The far right, however, tends to blame immigrants for various issues and proposes policies that could lead to brain drain and capital flight due to instability. The centre-left aims to balance the economy, health, education, economic growth, and investment in people. Currently, most economies are struggling with large deficits caused by Covid-19. The major issue today is housing, where both left and right have failed, leading to widespread anger worldwide. Don't vote for a party that will tank your economy. Look at what Truss did in the UK. No thanks.
The British Electoral system is brutal, but efficient at creating effective governments, the French system is theoretically better in every way, but in practice is simply worse.
I was in two minds about FPTP and PR but after seeing what happened to the French with there version of PR. Even with the extraordinary effort that Nigel has put in only just to get a handful MPs in showed a great unfairness but I think a needed one. To keep the flavour of the day not to sweep all before it example Israel and Palestinians before that it was BLM.
