I was curious how it worked so I did some googling... I assumed it was air-frying or microwave, but your comment about it being oily made me think deep fry. The machine is apparently an "Integra Sarasota" machine, developed in the EU by a Croatian company called "Integra", on sale since 2017, and it actually is deep frying with oil in 35 sec. It can do 100 orders before needing to be restocked; not sure about how often the oil or oil/air filters need to be changed. Interestingly it talks to the cloud, and you can monitor / change prices / see if it's out of something or needs service remotely. Super interesting & cool. I wish they had stuff like this in the US, or at least more readily available; although I'm sure in the US it would be like $4.00 USD per serving, not $0.71 USD.

@@rondox9787 Not true, there are multiple bottles of tomato sauce in the US labeled as "Ketchup". It's a slang term for tomato sauce used by many companies.
@@LegitCharge Nah ketchup is made differently to Tomato Sauce because ketchup is brewed with vinegar/acetic to get a sharper taste whereas Tomato Sauce use stock spices n' such.
@@add859tankionline Also not true, there are several different types of tomato sauces all made in different ways. Ketchup being one of them, it is a tomato sauce. Along with marinara sauce, and several other tomato based sauces. They are all tomato sauce.
In the 1980s, I interviewed with a startup in Colorado Springs that made French Fry Vending machines. No touch screen, but it had a glass front that you could watch the potatoes getting cut, fried, salted and boxed. It had a PC-AT inside it running Oracle Server, and a phone line to call the company for refills/oil changes. I haven’t thought of that in years...
Asia: Cool vending machines full of tasty goodness or awsomeness. U.S: vending machines full of overpriced, expired, low quality items that are as likely to eat your money as give you what you wanted.
Their already precooked and air fried, they superheat it again which only takes about 20 seconds, then the other 10 ~ 15 seconds is preperation. They have machines like this that can make mini pizzas too.
The price of 0.71 usd is not bad for fries. Here in junk food restaurant you pay 3 usd for medium size fries + 0.6 usd for a sauce. On the other hand, when you are in restaurant you have a human being serving you and doing great job... The automates cannot compete with the level of service, but only with price.

At first I thought the middle option was cheese sauce. When the fries were ready I was wondering why the cheese sauce was red and turns out it was actually chilli sauce.
A hospital here in USA that I worked in had a french fries vending machine. This was in 1993 (!). Out of curiosity I tried it one evening. Delicious. Too late though (heartburn). :-( Never again.
Guarantee this -I could construct a goofball looking vending machine big enough, like that one, stand inside it, and cook anything in there with the name “VendaFood”.
