The best. It fits his real life character perfectly. This Series is one of the Greatest Series ever made if not the best. Turkey have done a fantastic job. When I see Hollywood Series now I say Meh. When I see this I know what a Gem it is.

Yes, I fully agree. Okan Yalabik portrayed the complex character of Ibrahim with his evil, but also good sides very well.

Watching this again I am convinced that Suleiman fell in love with his equal in courage and intellect. That love lasted a lifetime. The only kind of love that does. He was not always pleased with her conduct and knew how to put her in her place without destroying the relationship. Firuze was just a distraction for Suleiman because Hurrem was too caught up in harem politics to see straight. He needed the original Alexandra to take him out of the heaviness of his reign. Firuze provided that. Very well written plot.

Ibrahim was a good Prime Minister, but he suited better as Commander-in-Chief of armed forces

Yes true he was a fantastic commander. He was very determined. He would not take anything else but a win. He stayed there until it was job done. Suleiman is called Suleiman The Magnifiecent due to Pargali's achievements as well.

That's why Pargali was the biggest loss for the Ottoman Empire. He should have run Egypt and not get executed.
