I like this kind of exercise, but I wish you put a little more time between phrases so the student has time to repeat each phrase. Mimicking what you heard is a valuable part of the learning process. It's how children learn language.

Bonjour Dylane, please forgive this second question, but we all know how important it is to learn things correctly the first time. At 7:14, you say "proviennent des fleurs" which makes perfect sense to me. Google translate and Wordreference use "proviennent de fleurs" while Deepl translate uses "des." My confusion is whether some prepositional phrases take "de" only, or if they take some variance of "de" such as "des, d' or even du." Vous etes la maitresse. Merci de le decider pour moi :)
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane 3 года назад
Both would be ok. Here it's more about the context. Des fleurs would be more specific, while de is more general. I hope it helps 🙂

Yes they are both the same. Usually the context tells you which one is which :)

J'ai une question. Pourquoi vous ne pas prononcer le mot "les" dans le phrase " les fruits et LES legumes de saison" en 11:02. Merci d'avance!
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane 3 года назад
Jaki tu as une bonne oreille 😉 Dans la vie de tous les jours, on a tendance à ne pas prononcer certains mots, c'est le cas pour "les fruits et légumes". Donc je voulais garder une bonne grammaire mais apparemment j'ai oublié de le prononcer 😅

Bonjoir Dylane, at 0:24 you use the word "jusque" translated "until." As I was practicing my dictee, I wrote the word "jusqu'a" avec un accent grave. I thought mine was the typo, but Wordreference seems to indicate that both spellings are OK. Please help and advise. Merci.
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane 3 года назад
Both are ok when it comes to time. It all comes to the next word starting with a vowel or not. But here you could say "jusque" and "jusqu'à"
