So far this is the BEST tutorial I have seen for French beginners in RU-vid. The Best!!! It does not "baby" and challenges you to try to listen hard and see if you can understand very common phrases. I love the challenge and I love the complexity!!!!

For beginners giving a loose translation rather than word for word gets in the way of learning the written language.

Perfect! I have been learning a little bit at a time for twenty years. This is like after studying Spanish from books for ten years and my communication was poor, then I went to Mexico for two months and I returned to the States speaking with total comprehension! Awesome!

This is a great learning resource. The pace is good for this beginner and, yet, pushes me. I like the repetition in French only to listen and try to translate and repeat before the answer appears.

This is great. My biggest hurdle will be understanding the spoken french.

this is for more advanced students who know how to read in French. whats more it teaches you listening which is the toughest part to get the grasp/ Stop complaing for someones great work.

Please upload vocabulary about Police, United Nations, Criminality, Emergencies, Name of Countries especially African countries, Forensic, type of injuries, social problems, security situation, Political terminologies, public order, riots, small arms, computer, internet, cell phone, traffic, human rights, gender discrimination and legal terms etc. Because like thousands other candidates, I want to take United Nations Police examination to get job in UN French peacekeeping missions. An excellent video. One of the best for beginners. I just wish the speaker had an accent closer to Paris. For instance, 'santé' is read like /sɔte/ or /saute/ instead of /sãte/.
