For anyone confused by what @@superworde said, “traduction” is Français for “translation”. As for “englissisme”, it basically means “english-ism”. I assume it’s roughly equivalent to “anglicism” (“anglicisme”) - which is when an English word is adopted by another language. (I say *assume* because in Français words like “franglais” and “anglicisme” have different meanings or connotations. So I have no idea if “englissisme” has its own unique flavor.)
Honestly, those documentaries made me want to play Melee. I wasn’t inspired and passionate about things like that since long ago. And the final one about the gods of Melee, the one about you, made me cry. Seeing someone in depression too, going that far, being that strong, honestly, inspired me more than anything that I’ve seen about this whole game. So, just thank you. (And the trans flag makes me happy too)
Hey I'm a french player of Ultimate and after watched all the documentary I wished play melee but I just have the Switch so I go play with a friend who have melee lol
@@marcellinelysander4453 all the flags are beautiful (my favourite is the omnisexual one) when I say "trans flag is the best" mean the it's the best part of the ppmd's room (and sorry for my bad English, I am French (like a lot of people watching this video) )
3:37 We french ppl use "frame", it's not a french word but we use it anyway :D 6:53 I think it should be translated by "excuse me for bad word using but Final Destination is his fucking fortified castle."
And just for you, here is moments when ppmd is trying to pronounce Words in french : 2:28 2001 3:36 Frame et 2001 4:30 rondoudou 5:20 Rend 6:30 Destination finale 9:48 Mango 10:55 Perdants 11:43 Le plus grand 13:00 Get on my level Post modif : 7:00 Chaingrab (Merci ? Hrcine ? )
@Salah-Eddine Akrour im french canadian and iv dealt with a lot of french from france also frames is straight images as frames per seconds is straight images par secondes so you saying there no traduction for frames is actually false there is
Youre so cute when so enthousiastic about something xD We frenchs use to be quite harsh with our own language, not finding it lovely to hear or easy enough to speak (and write omg) but seeing you THAT MUCH into it made my day
@@nap2149 He made a mistake ; he said he was French and living in Switzerland, but that's the contrary (I know it bc I've been watching Bronol's videos for several years now)
I hate to be that guy but I know this is a difference between english and french, the sentence should be "bronol's (been) living in France since a few years *ago*" is correct, you have to add ago (or a synonym like "since a few years back") when you use since like that.
As a Quebecois who's been in France for a bit, this clarification makes a lot of sense to me - it didn't sound like the French accent I've been used to hearing.
Hello, i'm french (oui baguette on a compris), and i'm very happy that our community like the content of others, especially you ppmd and i love how you share that pleasure to everyone while reacting the video that made us come to your channel, a youtuber named Bronol. Thank you again dude
I love how you mock French accent of bronol for some therm, but the best part is when you try to speak French that's just too funny ! Kiss from France ! 3
An absolute pleasure to have your insight on bronol's documentary, but the best definitely is you triying to imitate french accent 😂😂😂 As a french i just can't stop laughing ^^
Bronol is the guy that make me passionate about the competitive aspect of a game even if I can't play competitively because of my handicap. He is so cool.
hey ! Salut beau gosse ! Another french here in the comment section ! you and Mew2king are my two favorites gods of melee ! Love the fact that your learned some french during the vidz Take care of you dude ! the French community will be always at you side
"Excusez-moi du terme" means in French "excuse my French". But, it isn't really relevant, the accurate way of thinking this expression is more "Excuse me for the term, because I do not want to be to facetious" (In this particular context)
6:57 Gotta speak about that. The translation here isn't really "excuse my french" more like "excuse me for using that term" He said "excusez moi du terme" in french and idk if there's a complete accurate translation in english but the meaning is just like "sorry for being rude" or "excuse me for using a rude word"
"Dude French makes everything sound cool" That’s funny because to us that’s the opposite, at least I as a native French speaker French sounds kinda lame and childish almost ( it shows most in RU-vid comments idk why ) and English actually does sound cool
As a french, i like hearing english people trying to speak english, but PP is on another level I love to hear him saying parts of words... "Do mil Houuuun" x)
I love how you - english speaker - say that french sounds so good because for us - french speaker - english sounds so badass that more than half of our singers sing in english. (okay I don't have the exact number but I wouldn't be surprised if someone tells me than more than 3/4 of french singer sing in english)
Ho what the surprise ? Its me the comment in first secondes ^^ thank you pp ! I repeat but... we loving you :D (i dont know if this sentence is correct ;) but it comes from the heart ! I'm french sorry ^^)
Déjà Hello PPMD ✌️ Et ensuite on est d'accord que quand il dit des mots français genre 2001, 6, destination Finale ou le plus grand c'est juste ultra drôle 😂😂😂 (And then, we are OK : when PPMD sayd French word like 2001, 6, Destination Finale and Le plus grand is just very very funny 😂) Love from France PPMD 😉
