sis PLEASE do a 90s-00s updo tutorial series!!! Im tryna bring back waterfalls & all but can’t find any good old school stylists on RU-vid! 😫🙏🏽❤️❤️ this brought back so many memories
@@consquillacarey3588 yes please do a video segment showing how to do 90 styles like freeze curls and spikes the mullets with the pixies cuts I can smell the pump it up now🤣 my mother also was a stylist back in those times today she still 30 years strong in the industry
I wish I was older and could have got my license back in that time when these hairstyles was so popular. I just feel that you had to have a skill set to learn this. They don't teach these type of styles anymore because people don't wear them but I have always wanted to learn how to do these type of hairstyles. So classy and elegant.
You could probably make a killing at it! There’s a huge vintage community that still dresses in 40-60s and other past decades. I am one of those people, and most of us have to settle and go to “modern” hair stylist who most of the time have no idea how to give us what we are asking for in cuts or hairstyles. I don’t think any of the people I have gone to have even done a wet set or pin curl set lol
@@sirenelectric143 they're still being done. You have to seek them out. Of course you have what's hot now but lots of stylists can and will still do these types of styles. The curl waves are very popular now. I'm a beauty shop baby. I'm raised by several hairstylists and my cousin is a celeb hairstylist. I am always looking at hair because I can never decide what I want to do next. 🤣🤣
Absolutely gorgeous I always wear my French rolls especially if I'm going to something formal. I'm 59 years old I used to get my French rolls then with all different kind of styles of waterfalls in the front or the finger waves going into the French roll
Stylist to stylist you are not only an awesome stylist you are an awesome instructor!!!! I was blessed to have amazing instructors like you in hair school!!!!!

I use to love doing french rolls. I felt you when you taught her the difference between hair pins and bobby pins! Many people dont know the difference 🙄
OMG, this was so calming. Watching this made ME feel so relaxed. Your work & your energy is so beautiful. I love this style & your video. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
I definitely wore my share of finger waves.. pineapple waves..pin curls..French rolls and ponytail up dos...Those styles were very popular in the 90s..loved it.. More women wore their own hair back then.. Weaves were out but not as popular...When women wore them they opted for a realistic texture and length. Job well done by the way. Her hair looks beautiful.
Wow this brings back those memories....I stayed with the finger waves and a freeze at the top during my high school days my beautician was the shit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh my goodness are u kidding me I promise you this is EXACTLY how I use to get my hair done. Lord this brings back so many memories I’m crying y’all because that was such a beautiful time in my life. Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got or what you had until it’s gone.

Girl, you the BOMB. This was my doo in the 90s. My hair dresser of 20 years passed away a while ago. And I had very long hair and she did it up and kept my hair healthy. It's refreshing to see an young person with your Skills. Be Blessed.
Fantastic 😍. ❤❤❤. Great work! I remember these beautiful styles back in the day. What's old is new again. If u r not doing so already, consider making and selling video tutorials. To win competition, u have to be fierce❤ ❤❤❤. Amen. I also love how healthy the client's hair is. That is another course in itself. God bless u. As a stylist myself, I Love it!
I dress vintage and my decades of choice are 40-60s and I about swooned when I saw those absolutely stunning defined waves. Gorgeous!! Also one of my favorite tricks is to spray the hair and freeze in place with the hairdryer like you showed at the end. It’s one of my favorite tricks when my wet set just doesn’t want to cooperate or is being stubborn
This is what I call, classic 😍❤️. Absolutely beautiful, gorgeous 🥰😍. I did this style on myself, and my sister. Thumbs up to you sweetie. Would love to see more of your work. Some people see this as being old-fashioned, this never goes out of style.
The French rolls that I remembered was Hollow all dependent on how you started the role it was a big role of top and it decreased and got small down to the nape of the neck.
Can you do a pin curl tree I would love to see that a again....I remember being a teenager and everyone in my neighborhood came to me for the ponytails, crinkled ponytails and the pony tail with the spikes and my favorite the bob pony tail I got pictures still of those styles and omg the tree pony tails Dam I’m getting old but blessed to have been a teen in the 90’s ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️one thing I can say we were creative back in those days and sometimes you could find the best beautician in the hood, I stayed sitting in that chair in her kitchen or living room getting my finger waves did and went to school with my hair layer like a mf
