Perhaps, a paragraph on Les Fromages...France, is known for its range of cheeses. There are so many varieties, that one cannot begin to count them. They range from the very mild, to the very odiferous. Usually, they are eaten with bread but more often, with salad or on their own. Making cheese, is an art and it can take several weeks to make a specialised cheese, once complete, often, accompanied by a delicious bottle of wine. A popular type, is the one saturated with garlic and herbs, its smell is so strong that it appeals to those with a strong stomach and keen nose Bon appetit!
This makes so much sense! I took three years of French in H.S. and some courses in college but I don't remember some of the specifics. However, when I finished college, I had a pen-pal that I knew since my first year of French class (15) yrs old, and he really wanted me to come to Southern France. I had his Mom say a few things on a tape recorder 'cause this was back in 1990 and I memorized everything she said to me, word for word, and it wasn't simple French. She gave an entire itinerary of where were were and where we were going (on trips and so forth). Now, she spoke slowly so I could understand 'cause in one of my courses, we had to listen to and understand French people talking in their normal speed which is pretty fast for someone who doesn't know all French slang and those kinds of things. Your way of teaching it makes perfect sense! Quel bonne idee!
Very effective lessons. Thank you! Would like to know whether you plan to include on your paid website lessons, an interactive addition to this video, such as an option to audio record one's pronunciation and then provide feedback on how well one is doing compared to a native speaker.
It will only require you to record your voice as you do now on the RU-vid channel. Then a computer program compares the audio soundwaves from your recording against the sound waves generated by the learner and produces a percent of the match. Just a thought.
Meric Dylane, this was fabulous. The way that you broke the lesson down into 5 steps really helped to improve my pronunciation. You're a champion teacher Dylane. 😇
I've learned Spanish to B1 level, German to B1 level, Esperanto to B2 level, and now learning French is really going along pretty easily. I guess it's really true that the subsequent languages will be learned faster and maybe a bit easier than the first foreign language. So far I also like French more than Spanish because I think the grammar seems easier! What an excellent channel this is. Learning languages is very fun and rewarding. Thank you very much! Greetings from Montana, United States.
Thank you so much Paula 😍 Some rules are definitely going to be tricky (apparently, the subjunctive is very different in French and in Spanish) but the vocabulary will be easy to learn for sure! Welcome on board :)
Merci beaucoup Dylane! I love all your French Speaking practices, I've improved a lot my French with them... Even though I'm a beginner student! Thanks a bunch!
Merci pour votre travail . La prononciation doit être travaillée tous les jours. Des leçons comme celle-ci permettent d'étudier les expressions faciales.Ensuite, on peut répéter des mots et des phrases devant un miroir. Cela permet d'identifier les erreurs de prononciation. Sans une bonne prononciation, on perd la motivation nécessaire à l'apprentissage d'une grammaire et d'un vocabulaire plus avancés.
Your classes and you are just amazing. I'm working my way through your courses. I've completed your pronunciation course (though I constantly feel that I should go back and review it - there's just so much to remember), I listen to your weekly short stories, and I'm working my way through your grammer course. Your classes and you are just amazing. I've just discovered these speaking practice videos and they are awesome. I love your classes, even though they are hard work for me as I'm not naturally tallented at languages. The slow methodical nature of the speaking practice is perfect for my nature. My wife an I recently visited France an your classes as well a a tutor recommended on your Patrone site helped so much! It's evident how hard you work for your students. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Ernest I am so glad you enjoy my lessons and my little chit-chat! Sometimes learning a language is hard but don't give up, I am sure you will be able to speak French
I've watched, I think, 3 of your videos, now. This is the first one where I actually did the practice per the instructions you gave. I was surprised how well I did except keeping up with you on step 5. But that'll come with practice. I've been dabbling with trying to learn French for years. From store bought books to videos to apps. I've been working through Duo Lingo, because it's free for a about a month and a half now and have been surprised by how much I've remembered from previous lessons. The thing I struggle with most, right now, is how to know which nouns are masculine and which are feminine. I plan to start following your videos. Merci beaucoup.
I am so glad this video helped you 🤩 As for the gender of nouns, check out my recent videos, I have a video about masculine nouns and one about feminine nouns :)
mbc 🙏 Dylane ❤j'adore le pain matin, midi et soir. en particulier les croissants 🥐 et la leçon aussi. est une excellente occasion de parler à voix haute 😮
Merci beaucoup for your wonderful French lessons! I’m trying to learn French from your videos but I’m wanting to buy one of your workbooks off of Amazon. Which one do you recommend buying first? Merci! 😊❤
You should start with pronunciation but watch the playlist first before buying the book. Lots of people do very well with just the video, then grammar, conjugation, vocabulary and expressions :) if you want, I have a self-study guide on my website where all the lessons are listed. It's free to download :)
@@damienfenton3880 I am not apologising for speaking Irish, * apologise for making a small mistake, I mean that I have to write somewhere else but I guess due to my phone's glitch, it happened
