There is nothing nicer than seeing a child that really enjoys spending time with his parents. That is the best foundation for making a successful adult.
Exquisite fresh food, adventures in the forest, in the village, at festivals and at the beach...what a perfect summer lifestyle! You and your family are so blessed. Thank you so much for sharing the culture and the amazing beauty of southern France.
You two are the best parents to little Matthew. What a gorgeous family and an amazing life you have. I. Am so happy for you all. Love to you too. From Australia 🇦🇺.
I found your channel not long ago and I am smitten! I watch each episode many times. It is very calming and educational. I am learning French now! Thank you for sharing your life and country. Enchanting and simple lifestyle. From California to you ♥️
I'm right there with you, Karla...... I'm in California also and find this village living so calming and relaxing. I thought about learning French too. So much heart in these videos !
Absolutely adore Menton, my favorite place on the French Riviera. Beautiful drone footage at the end. I live in Aix en Provence and it’s so lovely to see what it’s like to live in a French village, such a different lifestyle and I love it✨🫶🏽
It’s 4th of July in the USA we have no work offices are close and I had been binge watching your videos , your calm voice is so soothing and so nice to just watch this on our lazy day. Thank you for such beautiful cinematography , your village is so captivating I want to go back to the south of France next summer thank for your tips on when to come and where tourists are not abundant.
Your village is absolutely amazing! It looks like something you would find in a fairytale! 😍In my country (Greece) you can find loquat trees everywhere in the south! While some people may not be a fan of these fruits because of their big seeds and a small amount of flesh, I actually really love them especially when they're super sweet. We also keep the seeds when making jam so we can use them to make a really yummy liqueur. I'd love to share the recipe with you so you can give it a go. Loquat Liqueur recipe: To prepare, dry 50 loquat seeds in the sun for 15 days. Once dry, break them open and remove the small "tonsils" from inside. Place the "tonsils" in a glass jar along with 700g of white granulated sugar and a 750ml bottle of cognac or vodka. Leave the jar under the sun for 2 months, shaking the glass every day for the first few days, so that the sugar melts. You can store the liqueur in bottles for as long as you like!
Thank you for sharing your moments of peace and happiness. Your little boy is so similar to my daughters child Aksel who is 5 years old. Same energy and happy demeanor and love of food, hiking, mama and dad.
I love these videos. I can feel your passion as your voice waivers like the ocean waves. I like Menton and the village too, though I have only been there through your eyes.
Salutations de San Diego en Californie ! Merci pour vos vidéos qui me donne très envie de rentrer en France et aussi l'occasion de communiquer un peu en Français ! Vous avez un très bel esprit. Salutations également à votre belle famille et communauté. ❤
I just found you on You Tube and spent a lazy day watching your videos. What a wonderful happy day I had listening to you and your very interesting way of describing your life in your village which is just gorgeous too and your beautiful family. I love France and soon will be visiting Paris for a month and then take the train to stay in a lovely little beachfront apartment in a beautiful little beach town called Golfe Juan which is between Cannes and Antibes....about 10 mins bus ride either way.I love all these beautiful little villages all around the south of France. I live in Vancouver Canada. I loved watching you and your husband making the delicious focaccio breads for your party....will you tell me how to make them...they seemed very thin and looked soooo delicious...cant wait to try myself. Its so lovely to meet you and your family and hear all about your beautiful life there in Gorbio. Such a beautiful video. Early evenings on the beach is wonderful. I live in Cape May usa, and like you I enjoy the beach early morning and evening especially to watch the sunset. Your tomato fig salad with mozzarella de buffalo is perfect. Thank you for sharing your family day with us. Joe.
Love your videos and your lovely village and especially love whrn you cook or mske french good. I try them all. Thank you. Cynthia from the northern Cape South Aftica.
So love watching your clips. Going to try your salad when we get figs. Here in South Africa where I live on the coast we are lucky to see fresh figs. Such fun at the festival. At this time my son is on a yatch off the coast from Monaco
I am new to your channel and I am just loving all of your videos. We live in the USA, but we have been to Paris, Lyon and Provence and loved it all. Now we will have to go to the French Riviera and visit some of the smaller cities and villages there. Seeing the beautiful scenery and the delicious and artistic way you prepare the food is such a delight 💕
I trim my loquat tree every year after collecting all the fruits so it stays under 7 feet; makes it easier to pick the fruits. I will try your tomato & fig salad, it looks delicious.
I love your videos. I am a new subscriber, and I appreciate being able to travel to your village. I am curious though, who was doing the filming when you were at the beach? Because I could see you and your family so clearly and so you must have hired someone to use the camera?
I just applied for our American passports. I’m a homebody living Tampa bay area we have the best beaches also, but watching your videos truly gives me the courage and desire to visit your village. Is it safe to visit your area despite the terrible riots in Paris? Thank you for your videos.
Sorry you got no response from anyone to your question - I'm English, and live in South-west France. Never seen a riot or any kind of demonstration. It's the big cities that are affected by these hooligans - starting with Paris, of course, but also (as always) Marseilles on the south coast. But Paris is not France. My advice would be - if you want to see the real France - go to the small towns and villages; visit a region, not just a place. You will be rewarded at the turn of every corner. You will find that there is no such place as 'France'!
@@michaelpatterson5811 that’s interesting why is Paris not France? Personally I would arrest everyone of this hoodlums and deport them to devils island as combatants
..I can't imagine being hot in JUNE.. 😆😆 Maybe is bcz, I stay in Southern hemisphere, and June normally is the coldest month this side. ...watching from Botswana 🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼
