A frenchy reacts to MEMES about France and French history! Let's see what kind of memes we can find to talk about the French culture and France. Original video: • France Memes #history #memes #france
This was pure fun! One reason I loves these and channels like oversimplified, fat electrician, and sam onella is it's fun to laugh at all our stereotypes, it's healthy and hysterical without being hateful, sadly, at the risk of sounding like the soon to be fossil I am alot of hatefulness passes for humor , I loved this, made me enjoy the lunchtime break even more😊. Thank you as always for the video
When I was in College I took a European Military History Course. My professor mentioned how France is seen as weak in the general public because of World War 2 and mentioned briefly how France won more battles, etc. I made the joke that "well yeah but does that really count since a good number of those victories were against themselves? You know because of all the revolutions?" Again it was a joke, haha. Please don't hate me. lol By the way I was wondering if you had seen the TV series Maximillian and Marie de Bourgogne yet?
No thank you for the reminder!!!! I'll watch it, the casting is amazing. And yeah, half of our battles were between ourselves so I don't know where to put them... Thank you :)
Informative. I didn't expect to learn anything new because we were taught a lot about France here due to Lafayette. Such a badass, Lafayette was. I have been enjoying some of your videos lately and I wanted to tell you that your videos are thoroughly satisfying. Greetings from Virginia, U.S., France's Sister Republic
we americans learn in class how powerful france was and still is my friend! we may joke but not as much as brits lol. we feel bad bc you guys helped us during the revolution and you guys got nothing out of it (arguably idk) but yeah gotta love france!
@@ToonStory-fh4gn well im glad we are allies my friend. i always thought it was cool that our revolution inspired your people to do the same then haiti was inspired by your revolution!
Fun! Still, wish people tired harder not to make everything about WWII and revolutions. What about DeGaulle being practically indestructible? Vikings failing to take Paris? Or just Napoleon III?
@@ToonStory-fh4gn unsurprising really. If things like Charlie Hebdo or stabbings happen in random parks it's likely to push people to extremes. I thought over there people were more concerned with the retirement age & farming rights to be honest.
Oh man. I dont envy your political situation right now. Never a dull moment in France. Could Le Pen really take power in parliament you think? Also could not believe there wasnt a single frog meme. Kids these days are not creative enough 😂
That's outrageous: not ONE single frog in all of this! And yeah, that's a very strong possibility. The party is heavily supported by half of the whole media industry, and we see the ugly face of these neo-fascists all day long. That's really sickening, this would be a disaster for our democracy as well as being an incredible disgrace to the country.
@@ToonStory-fh4gnLuckily France is more than one single party and people like you represent the country very honorably! Also was thinking of the invading Russia in winter thing. One part of the reason Hitler invaded was because he underestimated them after the Soviet performance in the Winter War. So if you stretch it a little you could say, the Soviets underestimating a winter war, med Hitler underestimating a winter war. The memes could just go on with the winter thing 😂
That's a legend or a widespread rumor that Baguettes were designed to be easy to carry for the soldiers in their bags or uniforms... But tI am not sure whether it is true or not
