Diastasis recti is the separation of abdominal muscles after delivery. Diastasis recti should heal 6 weeks after birth. The persistence of diastasis recti needs management like exercise, tapping, posture correction etc.
After delivery generally women complain about tummy fat or pregnant like or increase in weight which is because of diastasis recti. belly fat or tummy fat can be reduced by approaching the diastasis recti therapist to heal the diastasis. First of all, be kind to yourself. My first baby was stillborn at full term and one way my grief expressed itself was by punishing myself. I didn't do any follow up care, tried to exercise too much and too soon, and was very hard on myself because, after all, I wasn't really a mother now. Not completely rational, but I was grieving without any support.
Next, be patient. It took nine months to get where it is now. Plan on taking nine months to get back to normal. It might not take you as long, but don't be upset if it does or even a bit longer.
Give yourself at least a month or two before you even think about this. Your stomach takes a while to naturally heal and you will lose weight as your body switches out of pregnancy mode. Don't give yourself another thing to be upset and frustrated with. Your patience and focus is going to be very short for quite a while. That's okay and it's normal.
Start with gentle exercise. Take regular walks and work yourself up to running. Find something that you used to really enjoy in the past and start doing.

Find whatever it is that keeps your body busy and quiets your mind. Don't worry about pushing yourself. Be kind to yourself and keep yourself motivated to reach the desired goal.

It depends on how much ur DR is and how much exercise doing and what exercises you r doing usually it will take 6 months to a year
