The wood box at 7.22 looks like made in Poland. The ones in my collection have brass inlay, but otherwise it looked like a more modern version of what I used to collect.

CORRECTION: This is why it's important to do one's own research! Thank you, @kandga. Mieto worked for Noritake and then went on to found his own business. The "M" on Noritake IS for Morimura. NOT CORRECT: Meito brothers changed their name to Noritake for world trade. Early versions of Noritake have an "M" emblem on them so that Japanese purchasers would know that it was formerly Meito (a well respected and high end brand), until "Noritake" became established.

@4:45 - I think it might be Gump's. A high end Macy's/Bloomingdale's analog: from my perspective, a very hoity toity, preppy-centric department store chain from the ancient days of the 70s/80s. I knew of them when I lived in New York. Never set foot in one. NOKD (iykyk). I was a hippie chick & would have jumped off a bridge before setting foot in that kind of place. :) A lady below says San Francisco. Might be true. I lived in California as well. I just remember being repulsed. :)

As someone who was married to a watch and clock maker, I would walk past anniversary clocks every single time. They are a total PAIN to repair. That wire that comes down and hods the balls is like a piece of string made out of metal. They tangle and kink so easily. I cannot tell you how many we had running perfectly that ended up back in our shop not running because that wire - called the suspension spring is crooked or kinked. Also there are little leveling screws on the bottom that have to be adjusted IN PLACE (where it is going to "lve") and if it is not perfectly level, it won't work. I cannot tell you how much money we used to lose on those clocks. Either replacing the suspension spring again and again or having to drive to the owner's house and adjust it and then sit and wait for an hour or more to make sure it runs. And then go back because the clock was moved slightly to be diusted and thrown out of alignment. Eventually, we started turning them away from our shop completely. Not worth the aggravation. Make sure if you sell it, you put AS IS all over the ad and never guarantee that it runs. And if you are buying, remember that to repair such a clock can run as high as 300 - 450. They look pretty = but they are a nightmare.

3:13 I just picked up a single of a black dog signed by Sally Muir, no Anthropology stamp. I google searched they go for $65-$75. I got it because it looks exactly like my late dog Charlie.
