I make loc extensions and can install them and with him adding the small piece of hair at the base of the loc and crocheting to provide added support is absolutely brilliant. I will definitely be utilizing this method..
Started my dreadlocks in the year 2015 from the scratch. I find it funny whenever I'm asked; "Is this your own natural hair?" Some people would even ask me you chop & sell them...😂 Dreadlocks just prove that hair grows better when left to its natural state.
True hair grows better in it’s natural state. I am thinking about doing them from scratch as well. My hair is uneven though may have to big chop it first, I need to find someone who can do them for me like someone with experience
@@anklesabridged1349 that's what it sounded like to me. My opinion is her hair is thick and beautiful and will lock easily. But many people are inpatient, or only want them temporarily. I have locs myself and wouldn't go this route. Buy I understand why people do
@@quinitawhitfield9541 Oh, 😅 I see why I didnt understand. I know nothing about locks or the terms for locks. I was thinking it was the same thing as adding fake hair to box braids. I've had box braids but never thought about having locks.
This is awesome and innovative. I've never seen this kind of locks before. I'll definitely do mine. My whole being wants to have my hair done. Its so neat and outstanding. Wow wow wow. God bless the works of your hands.
They look real to me, just not theirs. Some people cut their locs, wash them, and sell them by the bundle. Then they’re bought, the buyer will twist it into their own hair. Unless they said it’s synthetic 😳 I didn’t hear if they did.
Hey guys Jesus loves you and your here for a reason. Repent by turning to Him and just accepting Him as your lord and savior for He is very real and wants you to know Him. Just take that leap of faith by letting Him into your life.💖 this world is not love you but God does people die but God is eternal Jesus is the same today ,yesterday and forever more. ❤️
Do you live in Texas, Love? Cause I would do it for free. Been braiding hair for over 45 years and know how to do what the "Do" Needs. Been doing it even before braiding was as popular as it is today. Hit me up sugar!! 😊😊😊
@@dionerichardson1782 Understandable but it's all in the interpretation. I don't get into the racist rooting of any wording. There's enough negativity out there as it is. But thank you for the brief history lesson. 👍
Aww I have the same texture. So hard to comb. I can never comb when it’s dry lol I have to spray a lot of warm water and moisturize it! But I love my hair texture. I feel we all have different hair texture and that’s the beauty of it all. I have to keep it in protective hair style or else I overseas so much touching it and playing. Especially when I’m thinking lol… it feels so nice haha. Your hair is beautiful I’m sure of that.
I absolutely love the look it is amazing but this is why everyone's hair journey is different some of us actually start from nothing and some start like this
I started my locs from a small Afro,18 yrs ago. Finally decided to cut then off in 2018... Now, I'm thinking about having the ones I cut and saved put right back in using the same method..LOL
Interesting, you are doing felting. Felting is what's font to make wool a firmer and more solid product. Used for making slippers, hats, etc. I can see that, yes, it would also work well for making dreads. Great video, love learning new things.
This is so time consuming, you're absolutely brilliant at what you do👏👏💚 keep up the good work. when client's ask the price and you tell them , they're 😮😲. I'm like do you know how many other clients i can do in the time your locks would take?
Don’t recommend this to anyone!! Hurts like hell(I was impatient 2 years into my lock journey😔)Just be patient and grow yr hair natural It’s worth the wait #8yearsStrong💪🏾
That's not true. The follicle is in the skin. It's the hole that the hair grows out of on the scalp. If you mean the cuticle, it doesn't matter when it comes to locks. They thrive in rough hair because it supports the locking process. This is why its more difficuly for people with straighter hair to lock, because their har is smooth. They literally have to rough it up and dry it out. The tool is training the hair to lock.
I've allways twisted AND let my hair locked as i washed feed my hair food rich oil fruits cold water and wrap in silk remember you can feed your hair foods you eat that are rich in IRON always use a glass jar to make your hair foods ... Hair shampoo hair condition use stuff like radish carrots COCONUT egg yolk butter olive oil mineral oil cold water ice cubes for the ends of our hair for strength and lenght this works for black american men and women BLESSINGS ALL PRAISE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FATHER GOD HOLY SPIRIT
Jesus is Lord over us! He'll and Heaven is real...accept Jesus today by confessing and forsaken your sin. Jesus is Love personified...He will forgive 🙏
Let's talk about REAL hair care. Let's start with combing the hair out 1st. It's just crazy how many people fail to really care for hair, but y'all will pay a grip to let someone abuse your hair.
