Chips and salsa are the easiest things to eat. It is such a flavorful, delicious snack. Homemade corn tortillas are super easy to make. I actually made them up to make some shrimp taco for my little brother for lunch. I don't love corn tortillas for my tacos, I prefer flour tortillas, but I love corn tortillas for chips! I made this simple corn tortilla recipe up to fry for some fresh tortillas chips. I also whipped up a simple, easy, fresh salsa. There are so many variations you can make, but this is the best simple fresh salsa.
If you like corn tortillas, you can make this recipe up and keep them covered in a towel to not dry out. serve with your favorite taco fillings and eat them fresh. However, if you like corn tortilla chips, then they are super easy to fry up, and you don't need much oil.
Corn Tortillas:
2 cups masa harina, corn flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 - 2 cups warm water
Fresh Quick Salsa:
4 tomatoes
1/4 red onion
1 Jalapeño
1 Serrano pepper
1/2 cup Cilantro
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoom chicken bullion granules
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
