She meant it culturally. Yes Taiwan and China are politically opposite, but not culturally and historically. They are basically the same origin and culture.
@@inotaishu1 yes they are. Taiwan was colonized by the dutch in the 17th century and since then lots of immigrants from Guangdong and mainland china comes and becomes residences. I’m not sure how they become opposite with the PRC, but the truth is, the people are from China
