This is exactly how I make my peach cobbler. I don't bother taking the skin off, you don't even notice the skin once it's completed baking, it taste the same even with the skin on. I just give the peaches a good rinsing off, slice them down the middle and twist them apart to get the stone out and the cobbler turns out perfect every time. This is a classic. Tried and true and one of my families favorites. Thanks Catherine!

Depending on the peach variety, I usually just let the peaches sit for a day or two, then just peel them. No need for the hot / cold water.

Hi Catherine, I got this recipe over 40 years ago at my wedding shower. Somebody knew I needed yummy recipes. It was called Lazy Susan cobbler. I love it and so does my hubby. Thanks for sharing!!
