"Courage is being the way you are no matter what anybody says about you" I don't think I'll ever forget that quote for as long as I live. Though that can be some of the best or worst advice you'll ever hear, depending on where you take it. Because many people have to be told that they need to change, for there own good.
2:27 “Look I never judge you for being the way you are but you always act like I don’t measure up to some rule of blackness that you carry around” I’ve always loved that scene because it foreshadows the Season 4 episode and it also shows Will’s early seasons of assumptions and stereotyping since Carlton never had the same experience as him. This show is goated
Actually he didn't because Will said that the bet was about Carlton spending the weekend in Compton and he didn't so in that case no Carlton didn't win the bet he lost.
@@luisdorado8562 that's because Will came and get him to avoid Carlton being killed in McArthur park. So the reason Is Will have worried about His cousin because he loves him.
I love the first seasons with aunt Viv. Because Carlton has depth and was a wills rival and it was fun to watch that. Then they made Carlton into a clown that will can make fun of
@@chrispleasantable This whole thing started because of Will in the first place...all because Carlton didn't live up to his standards of what being black is. Will should've accepted Carlton for who he is in the first place.
You know for me I don't want to have say this but I think Carlton acted like a fucking asshole because Philip was right that wasn't any courage at all and just because Will teases Carlton he has to do something stupid to be like a fucking asshole, man Carlton really did acted like a fucking asshole and dipshit in this episode, and you know what maybe all of this was Will's fault because he was the one that started all of this in the first place and I don't know why everything for him is all about making a bet it's almost like everything for him is all about making money, and why can't he just stop saying the word "Bet" to anyone that he knows.
I wonder if he would've did what those 2 did, what his gangster name would be. P Note don't sound right so they would've probably called him Uncle P or Uncle Phil
I know Will cares about Carlton deep down but also I was surprised to see him so anxious to rat on Carlton over a bet he knew he was losing. Carlton definitely won this one and Will couldn’t take it
Will was wrong for making fun of Calton and yes, Calton was winning the bet. However, Calton was so anxious on winning the bet, he didn't realize that if he did go to the park he could have been hurt or killed. I don't care how much I wanna win a bet, it ain't worth possibly losing your life for.
@@CoreyParson I know he was anxious to win because he was tired of his cousin always acting like he doesn't have what it takes to amount to certain things like he does and of course both are very judgmental towards each other based on their background. We all know Will was raised in the projects as Carlton was born into a wealthy stable environment because of his father's success. Will was wrong yes but he also showed he didn't want to have his Carlton rubbing it in his face
"But you don't see me doing YO, YO, YO, HOMIE YOOO!!!!" Preach Uncle Phil Preach! Phillip Banks is the real B.O.S.S. Face it, Will. You Love Me!!! Carlton shuts down at Will. Master William, You got served!!!!!!
Will's method of trying to avoid the confrontation with Carlton is very similar to the episode "Mistaken Identity".Only in this case.Cartlon wins the argument.
Aunt Vivian is the lady B.O.S.S. Vivian- I am glad you too had such a fun time down in the hood, because we gonna have a fun time dreaming up your punishment! Phil-Peace Out. I hope Will learns his lesson from Phil and Vivian.
Eric Stewart A well deserved lesson in fact. I got two words for them: GROW UP!!! Acting like fools will get them killed one day. This world has no room for idiocy with that much brain capacity. If this goes on, they have to be treated like children until old age. When they’re no longer in this world, their souls would realize that their lives were a waste.
Ironic thing is that Jazz's friends grew to love and respect Carlton for being himself and helping them become business minded and when Will came back and lied about Geoffrey being injured they told Carlton to go be with his family. After Will told Carlton that he told Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil about the bet Phil wanted her to stay home but she wasn't having it. She flew into Jazz's apartment and read all of them and told them to clean up and when Jazz's boys start to call Will soft and a snitch he got hurt and couldn't take it. They gave Will a taste of his own medicine.
Will had a point though Carlton did nothing but throw shade & judge him harshly bc of how he carried himself & if will hadn’t have came back for him who knows what could’ve happened.
Imagine if James Avery was still alive, if he were to know someone who he’d care a lot about who’d probably be wanting to about to go and do something dangerous like Will and Carlton were about to do, what do y’all think he’d either say or do about that situation if James Avery was still alive?
