I don't quite get the comparison. It appears you were running consistently higher temps on the stock extension. You had such energetic bean movement in the Razzo that you could have easily matched up the profiles by reducing the fan speed of the Razzo.
Very good observation! This is why I put up the comparisons. Depending on the strength of the Fresh Roast machine, the Razzo roast chamber may not work as well as the SR800 extension chamber. Thanks so much for watching. I only hope this helps.
Good video. I just learned about the Razzo tube...it looks very good, but when I see roasts on it here and in other videos, it seems the beans don't have enough movement with it on the handle side. This convinced me to go with the regular extension tube.
I personally like SR800 extension tube a little better. It is easier to roast with using the SR800 I currently own. I can get really great results from both the Razzo and the SR 800 chambers. I have found that pre-heating the Razzo is key. The performance of these chambers depends on the strength of the SR800 itself. From what I have learned the performance of the SR800 can very slightly. Because I make no money from this channel, I don’t haver the funds to test several SR800’s to verify this. The bottom line is you can achieve great results from ether Chamber! If you have the budget buy both as I did and try them. If you do not have the budget to purchase both, then upgrading the stock SR800 chamber is a great start. Happy Roasting!
