23:47 paid plan under services: is it free to use or do I have to get fresha plus for this particular option. I accept deposit from customer at once for multiple sessions. I don’t know how to do it in fresha.
Great Video. We want to build our own app. How do we integrate Fresha for booking in our app without having to pay a percentage to Fresha for our already existing salon customers?
Thanks - yes, you can take payments separately. Unfortunately Fresha does not offer integrations. You can see who does here: thesalonbusiness.com/best-salon-software/
Hello, thank you for making this video. Also, I wanted to ask if there is any chance you could help how to edit the deposit policy text? I was looking everywhere but no luck.
this has been really helpful however I want to edit the commotion email that is sent to my clients after they book their appointment, how do I do this?
you think this is also usable for other activities? I'm a canyon center and i'm looking for a booking system for a sport activity. Or is this onnly for salon en spas?
It's built for salons and spas. You could of course use it for other things but there will probably be features in there that you don't need. So really depends on the features you need and if you get that from the platform then why not :)
Would this work for a place that had large group bookings? Like 5 to 10 people, with a 50 person capacity limit you can set so it doesn’t get overbooked?
I don’t think you can do group bookings.. it’s on the wishlist from users: support.fresha.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115002176285-Classes-and-Group-Bookings
Hey Patricia, I don't know style seat that well. But would be similar with Fresha. Important to upload existing client data to the system so it doesn't show up as a new client..
Thank you for the video! I am hoping you or someone can help me with block bookings. My business allows clients to purchase courses of 5 or 10 sessions. Can they select 5 different appointments until one transaction? Thanks!!!
I think what you are looking for are bundles/ packages. Basically, you buy 5 services at the same time and just redeem against that when you book. Most software here would support that: thesalonbusiness.com/best-salon-software/
Can you set up online booking from your own site and disable being visible on the marketplace? I have lots of clients and cannot really accomodate new clients at the moment. Appearing on the marketplace wouldnt benefit me in anyway
Yes, you need to activate your account for the market place manually. Thus, if you don’t do that, you cannot be found there. You may lose some other benefits though..
Unless I’m wrong, it seems like online booking is only available if the profile is listed on the marketplace. I have the same problem and I didn’t want to list myself on the marketplace for new clients, so if anyone can clear this up it would be really helpful.
@@_RoyCastro_ I received a reply from Fresha and you're absolutely right. If you're listed on the marketplace, you are able to access the upgrades features. Without it, you can't .
No.. They would not integrate with each other. Why are you using two platforms? Here are my top ones for reference: thesalonbusiness.com/best-salon-software/
There's a lot you can do and I talk about strategies for this in several of the videos on this channel. Would start there as an answer here would be too long :)
How can I add say two services in the one booking . So with colour a 1 hr block for colour then 45 gap then 1hour service again in the same person . But with one pick of a service package :)
I do not recommend Fresha. The biggest reason is the way the system deals with vouchers. I have made £6k worth of voucher sales in the last 6 months but customers cant use the voucher code when they are booking online. I have had to set up a duplicate of each and every service and make a voucher only option where the client books a zero value massage and adds the voucher code in the notes and I have to manually check the code and manage it that way. I have spoken to Fresha many times about this but nothing has happened and it has been an issue I made them aware of 6 months ago. Added to this if someone buys a voucher for a Swedish massage (for example) at £40 and then we increase the price for the service to £45 (because of the cost of living fiasco) then the voucher is invalid and won't work. The Fresha system can handle basic voucher system requirements. We are now so deep in with Fresha though that the hassle of trying to change £6k worth of vouchers to a different system is even more of a nightmare than staying with Fresha. It is beyond a joke and makes our business look terrible. Do not use Fresha if you have any intention of selling vouchers to customers because the system is simply not fit for purpose.
It’s automated. Once a client books online, they either put their cell phone number, email, or both. Fresha will automatically send reminders to their contact information, you don’t have to do anything !
Does anyone have experience using the Fresha S1 POS unit? I can't find any information on it anywhere… what's the benefit of using their POS say over something like Square?
I haven't tested it so cannot comment (will try to get one). I do however compare some options (including square) here: thesalonbusiness.com/best-salon-pos/
You can certainly "grey out/book out" time so it appears unavailable. I don't thing you can automate it to repeat weekly. You would have to do that manually.
We're using fresha system for a long time now. Fresha is really good system and its very easy to use. But im still confused about adding tips in the payment especially in card. Clients giving tips by paying card so if you mentioned in the invoice it will directly deducted in the sales right. Then you can give the tips to the staff (as a cash) who did service. And it will not affect the cash at the end of the day. Please help me about this issue coz me and my owner still argue about this.😅
Hi, Fresha has a very good help center and email support. No phone though. Regarding TheSalonBusiness, we reserve phone support to our paying members but you can reach us via email.
Fresha Not FREE. Once I created the account they start calling daily asking money to Upgrade. After i refused the upgrade they have completely deleted my saloon Account. I have lost all my customer details as well.
Fresha has a subscription free plan but indeed, nothing is free in life.. I have listed my recommended alternatives here - I recommend you check it out: thesalonbusiness.com/best-salon-software/
Question for you: I owned a business ,but not a beauty salon , recently I am eager to build a salon business with zero experience, I am not certified beautician not even know how to color a hair.. . is it still possible for me to have a successful salon bez? Hoping for your response. Thank you!
Anyone have any idea if my customers will get an email or invoice after the service being done/completed ? as this wasnt covered in the video , thanks in advance !
Can you give me some average statistics of percentage of online booking VS. Total appts, or average number of online booking per stores or any kind of online booking statistics. I don’t really have any positive feedback from end users.
