topspeed is airspeed not groundspeed . high peak speeds can be achieved after a spiral and (high) downwind. Realistic (air) speed with xwing in tandem configuration untrimmed is 65 for the 28meters and 72 for the 24meters depending on the loading . Often i hear fantastic numbers but i have enough experience with both xwings to know that mostly is exaggerated. I would love to see your GPS track
First of all great video! Impressive Trike and very nice choice of music! I have a question! What are those leather aviator hoods, you're wearing? What headsets are in there? Did you buy them like this or separate? I'd love to have one, but all those I could find where plain rubbish... And the usual Helmets are not comfortable. :/
Xcitor mit einem 28m2 Schirm = ca. 65 Km/h Xcitor mit einem 24m2 Schirm = ca. 80 Km/h 147 Km/h - 80 Km/h = 67 Km/h Hattest du Windgeschwindigkeiten von 67 Km/h oder einen noch kleineren Schirm??? Mit meinen 230 Flugstunden auf dem Xitor hatte ich einmal bei sehr; sehr starkem Wind eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 110 Km/h erreicht. Ich schicke mein Variometer zur Reparatur. Auf jeden Fall hast du deine Aufmerksamkeit erhalten…………. Ansonsten guter Film. Wünsche noch gute Flüge. Gruss Tom
Hello Randy Beard, The Xcitor is a unique machine ... often imitated but NEVER equaled. To date, I cumulate > 1000 hours on Xcitor and, apart from putting gas in the tank and fly ... there's nothing else to do ... just fly !!
You can just tell when something is German Made, the rugged look that is made to last, now should some part break after a while the cost might dig into your pocket book still it is a great looking machine...
Beautiful machine, but expensive to buy. There are only two in the Czech Republic so far. It costs one million Czechs, it does not earn a living worker. My student bought it here in Liberec, sometimes he rides. It's two generations flying forward.-- - Schöne Maschine, aber teuer in der Anschaffung. In der Tschechischen Republik gibt es bisher nur zwei. Es kostet eine Million Tschechen, es verdient kein lebender Arbeiter. Mein Schüler hat es hier in Liberec gekauft, manchmal fährt er. Es fliegen zwei Generationen vorwärts.
