I just looked up "College dorm tour" and this came up first, it was great because I'm transferring down to OSU next year (I'm currently a freshman at the OSU Mansfield campus) and will be living in a dorm! Love all the ideas you have in your space!

I havent started college but im from ohio, like 30 mins from osu campus... i’m not smart for osu but i wanna go to maybe a different college like shawnee university or Cincinnati (places that take people who’s not super smart/smart at all) but i’m so shy im scared to start. I was thinking starting at Columbus state community college but also thinking of a college and staying in a dorm

Best college dorm room video I’ve seen 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s ridiculous that I have had to skip four minutes in on all the other ones. Yours was sweet, short, and to the point while also showing me everything I wanted to see and really going through the *basic* things everyone else thinks is too boring to include but incoming freshman want to see. So thank you! ❤️ also, all the love for the daddy hat. 10/10 purchase.

Love your dorm room! I’m living in Park-Stradley in the fall and I’m just wondering if you had any options for your bed or if you had to have it lofted? That kinda sucks if you have to :( I don’t like sleeping that high up.

Thank you! We had to loft our beds only because we got stuck in a room with a pillar. Luckily only 4 rooms per floor have that out of like 60 rooms so odds are you won't have to, but you also might. It sucks, but at least either way park-strad has AC haha. :)

Hi Sarah! I saw in the comments you said you were in Park-Stradley- did you have to pay to get your bed lofted or did the uni do it for you? I saw on the website that Park-Strad only has junior lofted beds?

I did it actually! All the beds are adjustable :) so you can loft it lower or higher!

Christabell senior Sekyere umm Ohio State more commonly uses the ACT, and that’s what I took, so I don’t know how it translates. But the average ACT to get in is a 29, and scholarships are more available for 30s and up. Full rides aren’t super common, but all this also depends on financial situation as well as other demographics. :)

Why is it a fraternity?

Kappa Kappa Gamma was formed in 1870, and that was before the word sorority was invented. So even though we’re part of the PanHellenic Association, we are called a fraternity, not a sorority. There’s a couple other PHA organizations like that too, but yeah it really doesn’t make a difference in what we are. It’s just a technicality. (Plus I think it’s funny to tell people I’m a frat bro.)
