Frida is a "MARVEL", WAITING to happen. Definitely ! A Guardians of the Galaxy, with the mood up beat edge for the Star Load, Rocket Ratcoon, Eye Am Groot, and all the ravishers.
This is not a ripoff of Todd Rundgren. The first section is reminiscent of I Saw The Light--the notes are not identical--and thereafter it bears no resemblance to anything by him. Nothing even comparable to My Sweet Lord/He's So Fine. Given the amount of copying so prevalent in rap and crap, this is a nothing issue. Not a spectacular song, but not horrible. As with so many artists, they produce one or two winners and the rest are eh. Her hit, Come Closer, is wonderful, and the video is easily one of the cleverest I've ever seen.
