I respect the good doctor but he’s misinformed on masks: 1) Countries where majority wear them such as in SE Asia have much flatter curve (I live in Taiwan and experience first hand the benefits of a masked society 2) reduces viral dose released into air and inhaled (there is strong correlation between viral dosage and severity of resulting disease). Please help like this message so Dr. Campbell sees this and gives the issue further consideration.
Completely agree with you Dr Campbell, in my opinion WHO board weren't at the level of what was needed for the situation. Director General Tedros Adhanom should resign right away to this position, as a result of this disastrous consequences and neglect management. And at the right time, authorities should establish legal responsibilities.
My father in law and his wife are currently on a P and O cruise ship which is heading back to Southampton. They were on a round the world 99 day cruise to celebrate there retirement. As far as we know there are no Covid cases on board and over half of the trip locations haven’t been visited due to the COVID outbreak. They have been at sea for over 30 days only stopping near Durban to get supplies. They are not due back until 9th April. I am just telling you all this to show not all people have taken risks. When they left the UK Coronavirus hadn’t even been heard of. Hoping they continue with good health and return home safely.
