MNRR's Hudson Line and Amtrak's Empire Corridor join together at CP12 Interlocking just south of Riverdale station. From there, both MNRR and Amtrak share trackage all the way to Croton-Harmon, and as far north as Poughkeepsie!

Back in the day Amtrak P 32 locos didn’t have escape hatches on the nose of it. So MARC cars had to be substituted in case of emergency
