I have been watching you from the beginning. Your content is timeless and so valuable. So many others dish out the smallest tidbit of information which isn’t actually useful. You don’t gatekeep. You’ve spent a lot of time and energy making all these videos and have every right to make some money off them. Nearly every video has ads. Watching them is a way of thanking you for your effort and sharing your knowledge. I love your authenticity. It’s rare for people to have the courage to be real and open themselves up to criticism from those who don’t walk in your shoes. You’re fantastic as you are. George is right. Your workday needs to end just like everyone else 😊

IMO There is nothing wrong with ads. I also believe there are certain things a creator should not have to ask permission for and ads is one of them. When options for anything are presented then there will be a mix of yes and no. It’s normal and acceptable for RU-vid channels to have ads. Just do it. Only once have I ever stopped watching a video due to ads. It was about an hour long and had ads every 5-10 minutes. You give your all and shouldn’t have to ask permission to be compensated for your time. Again just IMO. ❤️

It's possible those folks who said they'd stop watching if you added ads just wanted to discourage you from considering it when the reality is they wouldn't stop watching. I know in my case I've never stopped watching a content creator I like because of ads. I just skip forward or pay to skip over them.

I noticed that's a thing people do when they've grown up with narcissistic parents. My mom and grandmother were like that. I was never allowed to be happy about what I've done. Another excellent Coffee Chat. Haters will always hate because they hurt. I look forward to Coffee Chat (and all of the other videos) all week every week. We don’t watch because of the author knowledge and wisdom (that’s fun, but it’s just an extra perk.) We watch be you are who you are. Sure we relate to who you constantly strive to be. But, we don’t watch out of expectation of seeing Perfect Sarra. We watch because of who you are right NOW. Please don’t think I’m a stocker, but I feel like we may actually be friends someday. I don’t know how that would happen, because my husband and I live halfway across the country, but the future has a way of surprising us. Keep your chin up. Remember-other people can’t even imagine the magic inside us. re: people who wouldn't "watch" anymore because of ads or bc they won't pay for youtube premium...screw that. I can't believe that people feel so entitled to your time that they think that you shouldn't get paid for your contribution to their lives. That's not your person. If I couldn't afford premium, I'd watch ads to contribute to your income. Just my two (or three) cents.

One person I love, who does sponsored content in such an organic way is Mayim Bialik on her podcast (Amy from Big bang theory). I'm not sure what it is, but she's just so nonchalant about it and like this is how you get paid to make RU-vid. It's a cool model. Love this channel whatever you do!

As I get older I'm beating myself up less and less. I'm very not normal if I'm compared with most of the people in my family or at work or my friends. I have just decided that I like my 'quirks' even though I am trying to improve, ONLY to make my life run more smoothly, not for anyone else's pleasure. I cycle self improvement with self acceptance like I cycle keto and falling off the wagon LOL I wrote this and then took the Enneagram test I'm a 4 LOL just reading the description is uh-huh, yup!

I probably won't watch your videos if you have ads. You make a lot from many different sources and we are bombarded with ads. It's one thing if it's your main income source or a large part of it but neither is the case with you. Besides, a lot of your newer content is repetitive and less helpful than in the past. Sorry, but you are losing a lot of your authenticity which is the biggest reason I started watching your channels in the 1st place.

Less helpful to you perhaps, which is fine. It's so weird though for someone to say "this hurt my feelings" and someone else to say "here let me hurt you again and more this time". If you feel it's not your thing why mention it at all? I'm still me and as authentic as I can be but maybe you just don't like how I've grown and changed. What's the point in being hurtful though?
