Hi In order to sing and play fluidly at the same time you must be very familiar with the song ( lyrics, rhythm and chords). Make sure your chord changes within the song are second nature so you can concentrate more on the vocal. Practice singing along to the original, then playing along to the original and finally both. Don't try and play and sing full speed at the start, slow it down and build up the speed to that of the original (or whatever speed you want to play it at). I hope some of this helps.
