I don't think if it got answered during the livestream, the West Point mint silver eagles are more collectable / desirable, and bring a slightly higher price, those are a great find to get those in - West Point produced a burnished finish on the coin's surface, while the Philadelphia mint produces business strike. PCGS will grade these coins with SP69 / SP70 designations instead of MS69 / MS70. Extra note, type 2 eagles added the engraver's initial on the coin's obverse, AW, and some people incorrectly mistake this for being the West Point mint mark, but their mint mark is always on the reverse for both type 1 & type 2 eagles.

@@BullionNow hmm, the coins you have do not have the W mint mark on their reverse, I had to look it up and I was wrong a little bit above. It is confusing. West Point does produce two different types of silver eagles, business strikes and burnished finishes. Their burnished finishes always have a W mint mark and these are the more desirable ones to collect. West Point's business strikes have no mint mark and are visually indistinguishable from Philadelphia's business strike eagle coins. There is no added collector value in West Point business strike coins. Here in the United States, the only time we ever talk about West Point eagles are when talking about the burnished version. Keep this in mind, people may assume you have the burnished version when mentioning the mint, when this is not what you have.

As a perthite you are a coloniser, you are a illegal immigrant. You need to go back to Europe and give back the land to the natives.

I think Matt's scale covered all happenings, except for fire.

I see it as a sovereign you can't change the design to much and still call it a sovereign and as an Australian first a great collection piece with a max mint of 2000. I bought one within 5 mins after release.

Yes - the face value is A$100 but most people are stupid and wouldn’t accept it.

The Australian sovereign, would have been great with the Aboriginal influence. And I am one that doesn't like to welcome to country. But this would have been a great time to celebrate Aboriginal history. But maybe I have the Sovereign coin meaning wrong
