For those who dont know every friday on the radio they have a "friday night cypher" for up an comming rappers. The DJ choose certain beats and the host asks the rappers who wants the beat and who wants it raps if not they play the next beat until everyone rapped.
Where do they do this? This isn’t still going on , thats how big Sean came up like over ten years ago on 97.9 but this hasn’t been a thing in Detroit for many years unless I’m missing it somehow

The way Royces part fades out like its the end of the cypher only for Ems beat to suddenly start up has real "thinking you killed the boss and finding out it has a second phase" energy
When everyone else comes with short verses that are typical on a "cypher" but Eminem just acts like he missed a memo or something and just drops a full on verse
Sean’s verse was the longest & Royce was just as long. If you end the song you get the honor of rapping the beat off. Usually a spot reserved for Eminem or Lil Wayne 😭☝🏽
