Keep it simple and catch more fish. The more you Chironomid fly fish, you'll find that the simple patterns catch more fish. The Grey Money Chironomid is one of those producers. Hopefully I haven't offended someone by naming this fly differently than someone else that thought they invented it. lol Keep it simple and catch more fish, focus on depth and colors once you have caught the fish. Take pictures of what they are eating and try your best to replicate. That is the science of Chironomid fishing in a nutshell.
