i like how its affecting both at the same time instead of one already being fully corrupted also the corrupted BF here isnt one of the minus designs, hinting at possible inter-dimensional travel between the main game and the mod universes. I’m pretty sure the corrupted version DOES give him sentience, if you look closely you can see that his eyes go from upwards eyelids to normal eyes in his left arrow, down arrow and right arrow. I’m pretty sure his corrupted form is alive.

Skid UwU how can corrupted boyfriend timetravel and if lemon could why didnt he just corrupt to begin with instead of a certain time. Exacly it makes no sense how could he travel back in time.
1st song: Skids a bit nervous, but tries his best to stay cheerful. 2nd song: Skid feels the corruption on him, he knew it was to late for him, his fate was sealed in the corruption. It seems Pump isn't safe from it either. Though he swears he hears whispers coming from Pump. 3rd song: Skid felt as though half of his face went missing. He looks down and sees that his fully corrupted puppet, staring at him with a sinister grin, he can hear it say, "Who's pulling the strings now?" It seems it gained sentience.

This is incredible, although ah my humble opinion I think that the designs of the corrupted minus would be more complex and would have a design based more on the icons, which is how the original minus are designed

To be fair, they’ve gone ahead and made new songs for each week since Pico, with Senpai being more focused on the dialogue and in song interactions. I imagine they will only improve previous weeks in a similar vein. All that shit takes more time than reskinning mods and using the same songs.
Or maybe a completely new animation where it's your suggestion but Pump is holding a pair of scissors (SKIDsors) to Skid's neck and the latter is not only struggling to get the former off but also genuinely terrified to the point of crying-

Not even here where Skid and Pump are not little cinnamon rolls, but instead, it's a friendly skeleton and his pumpkin puppet, trying to put a friendly show, not even here like this hurts any less. The poor skeleton it's forced to be consumed as his preciuos puppet, now alive, it's pulling the strings on his own, looking him straight in the eyes as the last of his conciousness fades away in the corruption. I bet this skid just puts shows with his puppet to lost and sad childrens everywhere to make them feel better. And this is what he gets in return. Holy crap.
