@totallynotvito yeah like he is holding them back from trying to attack him or prevent him from stopping it. Since we play as the corruption, its most likely we as the player ( aka the corruption as i mentioned ) decided to do this as soon as she started to free pico from our grasps just so she wouldn’t have a advantage. ( aka im terming the corruption as a he because they them sounds weird for this. )
I love how, at this tempo, the little "Wait a minute-"s in the background sound less playful and more hesitant. I view it as a depiction of Mom's inner monologue. Like, "what the Hell is happening to me?" Example: 1:04

Fun Fact: It’s confirmed that Corrupted Pico is crazy as fuck, and will attack literally anything, even objects (which makes sense since regular Pico has schizophrenia). This explains the chains around his body, as it’s been confirmed they’re there because he tried to attack some chains lying around and got himself tied up.

I love how the song is named “schizophrenia” because pico has schizophrenia, so I like to think the henchmen are just another hallucination of pico, because in the other two songs they weren’t there. I just realized pico doesnt look at the camera anymore in his right animation like he’s fully corrupted inside and out, jesus christ thats actually kinda spooky, having no control of your body but being able to sense and hear what is going on
His eyes are also glowing now. In the previous one they were just the same color at the rest of the corruption but now they're glowing so maybe he's actually gone now

Like lasts battle with mom, in day 2, the infection was wearing off meaning that he is fighting the infection inside but now, the fact this patterns are getting harder and his eyes are glowing this means that the infection got too strong for him or he gave up.
The mom’s getting weak, there’s no way the mom can defeat pico. Same thing happened in corrupted week 3 “pico saved boyfriend” “but the corruption was to powerful so it took over boyfriend again and decided to corrupt pico”. EDIT: Thanks for the likes!!

According to the wiki, after week one of corruption (Bf vs pico), Pico was like he is in M.I.L.K, almost completely corrupted. Then, he panicked and tried to stop the spread by shooting himself. But It didn’t work. He went full ravage due to his schizophrenia and tore up a dumpster, getting tied up in loose chains stuck in it
Realistically: Everyone's finna end up corrupted with no hope or succeeding.. which leads to a mod showcase where you can play through a nightmare wonderful of all your favorite characters being demonic! Me, who realizes Daddy dearest hasn't been even *touched* despite being the man you fight the most: He's gonna eat that corruption like Bubblegum and snap Lemon Demon's neck isn't he 👀 He deadass works with s o u l s as shown in the Pixel update, so god knows a demon for a lemon for a head is gonna end up like Swiss cheese once he picks up the glock.
I like how while Mom's singing the new, frenzied track of her struggling to stay alive, Pico is singing warped and remixed versions of his own songs in a desperate attempt to regain humanity
*Theory:* In both the second Pico and Mom corruption videos, we see boyfriend and Pico seemingly begin healing before the third video where we see the opponents get closer to corruption. I believe that when that happens, the corruption isn't getting affected but instead gives the illusion of being combatted to make others put down the guard slightly as they begin thinking they're succeeding, although they're actually falling for a trap. my theory is that the "backup dancers" shares a little part of mom's soul so the corruption effected all of them at once because of mom's soul being half corrupted
I have a theory similar to that, and it's that they all share one soul and act as a hivemind. They used to be under mommy mearest's control, but when the parents made lemon demon he overwrote the dearest family's control and made the corruption. With the henchmen being patient 0.

I love how musically talented most of the Funkin' community is. I've seen tons of great remixes, originals, and covers of tracks. Among the greats are Retrospecter's remixes of Ugh and Whitty's tracks, The Samurai Shogun Coryxkenshin for his fantastic freestyle raps over these songs (btw he released a rap album in February, including the Samurai rap.), Tricky's tracks, Of Course Whitty's tracks, and the OG Kawaii Sprite. This community proves that you just have to stick with something long enough to make it work.
Theory : Around 1:30 - 1:40 (I don't remember what exact timestamps but i know it was around 1:30 to 1:40) you can hear either Pico, the Corrupt Henchmen or the Mom saying something. It is unlikely that the henchmen are saying something because they don't even really move. The Mom might be saying "What happened to my baby?" (GF being corrupted) or "What if they hate me?" (As in, what if the corruption rejects her) Pico's probably just hitting the notes and not saying anything despite him having some control over corruption.

I feel like the real villain here is us, because we are the ones playing as the corrupted characters, and by winning we are corrupting the others, and then the same thing goes on, corrupt the ones who aren't corrupted

Well he got chains around his body cuz he’s too dangerous and powerful so he can break free Mommy Mearest somehow managed to break pico’s eye free but failed to uncorrupt him fully now look at her She has strings fully around her body Daddy Dearest was the last person and too powerful so he had the strings on him immediately So the chains probably prevent powerful PEOPLE from escaping However the strings prevent DEMONS from breaking out But the stings work a different way than the chains Depending on your feelings and how much corrupted you are you will get the strings differently For example: Mommy Mearest was panicking and DESPERATELY trying to get out of this situation while Daddy Dearest’s last name got replaced by Depressed so he basically gave up This all adds up to ONE thing The chains and strings aren’t fully developed yet which means another thing Mommy Mearest can still escape because she was the ONLY one to be corrupted by another person than pico Well yes Daddy Depressed got corrupted by everyone but he was making his last stand and he was enraged And also it’s unlikely he can break out without someone helping him because EVERYONE corrupted him Also he got his last name replaced after MOMMY MEAREST showed up I think that since Mommy Mearest can break out and she’s a demon She will bring back senpai and spirit back to the game where she will found them and herself in a race against evil boyfriend to who can find girlfriend first If they lose Everything is over... She sings of the horrifying harmony of the corruption and herself. There is no hope of saving her. She's... gone.
I have a theory, the name of the song "Schizophrenzy" is very similar to schizophrenia, and that would mean that the corrupted characters has a different vision and for the mom, since her part of her face got corrupted, she sees shadows or illusions of the dancers on the car. behind.
