For some reason, one of the things I appreciate about this mod is the fact that characters actually have new in-between note frames that have them actually look like they're singing/talking. The music's fuckin' dope as all hell, but the little extra bit of work into the animations is killer to me, I love it.
I like how they have the boyfriend sing on his own more often instead of copying almost everything. Makes it sound more like a rap battle instead of a repeat after me.
I think that's supposed to be bf's win condition. He has to harmonize, not compete, in the song while the other person tries to juke him while keeping the song good
I don’t know why, but honestly that just makes it that much more amazing, imagine like a crossover between white and neo mod... okay now I want that why’d I have to speak.
Fun Fact:(According to the wiki of the mod) it is actually supposed to be a futuristic type of look that's why in the updated version, Pico looks like a Cyborg almost.
Id say that liking the bsides is just personal music preferences, for example if you like hip-hop and that kinda stuff youre gonna like the neo better.
I downloaded this mod about three hours ago and have been playing it nonstop! I love this mod so much, I'm just not very good so I can only beat the Dad's songs on Neo..heh, but still I'm gradually getting better and better. FNF has become one of my favorites rhythm games of all time, I've completely fallen in love with it!!

I like to imagine neo takes place in the future when everyone is happy around eachother and they just wanna recreate memories with one another and relive good days
Three things 1: I love the left animation for skid and pump. Looks like skids holding his first microphone and thinking he can kill people with it. 2: I like how when dd's losing, his little health bar thing looks like the " Listen here you little sh*t" face :) suits him 3: is this even a mod?! No. It's pure awesome
Neo South goes way harder than it has any business going. Imagine if some rappers did that song first, but longer and with actual lyrics. It would top charts for months.
I love how in some songs, sone parts are the same as the original, really giving the feel of a new song, while also keeping it slighty familiar (This is most prominant in Dadbattle)

The way when you press a note and the bf just closes his mouth after singing the note is just *yes.* edit: I'm just happy that most of them are closing their mouth after singing a note
This entire mod literally makes you perform rhythmic movements with your hand unlike the others, making tracks like Bopeebo, Dad Battle, Blammed, and Satin Panties in particular so much more fun to actually play
@@redguy824 if you wanna get better I recommend trying to find hand coordination test (if there are any out there)and if not then maybe trying to play on easy first then progress further (I’m sorry if this doesn’t help these are the only tips I have)
South is a masterpiece. The sudden slowdowns for a moment are amazing, and the parts where they sing together afterwards are holy wow it's so good. Spookeez is really good too, but South is much better imo Week 1 is cool, definitely has its flaws. When Bf songs 2 notes at the same time, we hear both, twice as loud, which makes it sound like there are 2 Bfs rapping, and the vocals at Dadbattle are not loud enough. Week 3 is really cool, sounds like an action movie, and the police cars in the background make it look like Pico is being chased. Makes sense, as he's carrying a gun, and that's an action movie thing. High always felt like an anime op, and Neo didn't change that. Milf is just underwhelming. This was all my opinion, don't hate me
I notice nobody is saying anything about how Girlfriends had tilts changes tempo mid song at some points like she actually vibing to the beats and singing as opposed to being a metronome
Skid skeleton makes me thing there in the future and everyone's skeletons are replaced with a stronger material for the bones of them. Now you can't unsee that. No need to thank me.

yea the 3.0 update ruined any sort of story and order and made all the music just really bad. this one sets an atmosphere and lets you create a story of your own in your mind sorta.
I feel that the boyfriend in this universe is more serious about rapping at its core, unlike the original boyfriend who seems to be portrayed as a kid who likes to rap.
