Lookaside/Yourself isnt a evil character but, it is actually bf in a different universe. In Yourself's universe, he and gf (in this case her name is Herself), they suffered a very terrible accident which Herself didnt survive but Yourself survived but he suffered a lot of injuries which is possible to see on his skin. Once Yourself found out that Herself died, he wasnt able to move on from her death and he tried everything to bring her back to life and he became so paranoid that he became in this form that we see in this music. Also, if you pay close attention, you can see a red figure happearing behind Yourself's lyrics part of the music, which is the spirit of Herself that got attached in his microphone once she died (to be fair, Idk if Yourself knows/doesnt know that Herself got attached to his microphone) The reason why Yourself came to the universe of bf is because he wants to defeat him so that he can see herself once again and that's why Yourself's lyrics is about Herself because he wants her to be proud of him just like in the old times before she died (also, the lyrics is dedicated to Divide) All he ever wanted is love. And now...without herself, he feels powerless and without meaning to keep living.

For those who doesnt know this mod is actually made to commemorate Divide who died to cancer in his sleep this also makes sense in the lyrics because Yourself is singing ''I'll make you say how proud you are of me'' implying that Yourself wants to make his creator Divide proud. And also were he sings ''So stay awake'' meaning that Divide should have stayed awake but as you know he died in his sleep.
Fun fact: reason why yourself looks so worn down is becuase in yourselfs timeline herself (alternate timeline gf) dies and yourself stops taking care of his own body not cleaning himself not careing if the food he eats has deases on it ect
