woah the HD Version must have been epic with everything honestly the way it end with bf showing his emotions was really a masterpiece even to me i was literally crying about that
This is just constructive criticism. I think this artstyle is a phenomenal "remaster" of the original and actually does fit with the HD theme too. Even if it isn't done by Goobler, it has a nice HD feel to it. But sadly, the animation on the otherhand seemed either rushed or wasn't worked on at all. The animations are all very stiff and they don't really have that same oomph as other animations in the community have.
Cool to see that this HD version has a little more of an emotional impact with Boyfriend being in tears. Along with that, you have Garcello's ghost with a nice glow aesthetic with those colors popping out. This mod really tries to add some flare to it than the original.
I like how in the last song boyfriend’s crying for garcellos death…💔😭😭 This mod is so wholesome and sad and teaches a lesson at the same time, to not smoke. I love this mod and the creator must be a great person. ❤️
There's a mod called "The Return of Garcello" which takes place at the same place that BF visits with Zardy, Sarvente, and Whitty. Garcello does come back but when daylight strikes Garcello leaves.
Soon there will be another Garcello HD but a bit realistic like Sarvente HD (fan-made) and we are also getting the Smoke Em Out Struggle Plus by the official devs. I can't wait for those.
Changes: HD, Garcello now breathes white clouds, only the cigarette is changing colors, Garcello's animation is now stretching. specifically the head, Weirdly, BF's crying sprite is him laughing and crying, and Ghost Garcello's hair is moving for idk what reason, Ghost Garcello has an aura surrounding him, but Ghost Garcello isn't changing colors, Ghost Garcello can control the bar just like BF, BF is crying during faded, but Ghost Garcello isnt.
This is actually quite a good re-creation. It’s great to see the work that people can do with already existing assets and songs. The end too Is just amazing. The story hit well too. The only thing that could make it better is a more crying portrait in Headache and the animation for BF to not be a png really (nice custom sweating Bf though)
Oh cool! Another HD Also i liked it the way the arrow colors are presented in Release and Fading seeing it throught his neck makes it look like an Scarf! Also i like how BF actually speaks instead of just saying Beeps and Boops just like in HD!
this Hd mod was really well made, litterly because the dialouge actually changed, mid fight masses had no dialogue, shaggy was the same, and matts what the same (their mod was still good) and it shows more emotion at the end.....
It's always nice seeing HD version of mods from the actual HD i think..or well whoever else has the same drawing skills makes these HD versions of mods and not those so called "hd" mods that don't look hd.
Fun fact for the creators: garcello still smiles if he do the up and down arrow Edit: i forgot to mention he smiles in the up and down arrows in fading only
Ngl, I feel like this was rushed, I mean the story and all is perfect 11/10 But Garcello moves like Parappa bassicly paper, Well to me he does. But overall it's a good HD Mod.
I don't have anything against the original mod because it's still an awesome mod but it's nice to see that BF actually showed emotions here, that made Garcello's death more impactful than before ngl.

This mod was actually the saddest mod that almost make me cry but now its on hd which is cool ngl the sprite looks awesome but yeah they got to change the animations yet bc its not hd but its 9/10
okay okay... love like.. everything about this. the art is beautiful and fits garcello so well. my ONLY tiny, MINISCULE complaint would be the cigarette just kinda.... floating lol. BUT other than that this all looks really good as always!
