I always love it when artstyles are nailed so perfectly in mods, even the little cutscenes thrown in perfectly capture the vibe of the DOAWK books lol. I love this a ton!
as a fnf fan and a dairy of a whimpy kid fan this deserves a W! I love how they actually made a bf sprite that looks like the book instead of using the normal bf sprite and coloring it white this mod is awesome!
I can't believe Diary of a Wimpy kid was from late 2000s early 2010s around the time we were all probably still sleeping early for school, and to this day, when we're all either unemployed/just graduated and Greg Heffley STILL hasn't graduated out of middle school.
Man, it’s really good to see a normal DOAWK mod, I love how BF looks in this style, so as the art style that it’s like the books lol, even how accurate the cutscenes here and they did a effort in this one!
The sheer nostalgia alone this mod brings back is so touching and I love it. I remember reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid as a kid and seeing it get an FnF mod was sudden but nice, I'm so glad to see the books finally gain some recognition again. But there is no reason for songs based on Diary of a Wimpy Kid to hit THIS HARD!
I really like the EFFORT put into a MOD with ME (I'm speaking from the perspective of Greg), and it's so cool to see people, REAL LIFE people can make this!
IT'S FINALLY OUT AFTER 3 YEARS!! really dig BF's redesign, he's even more funny looking and fits the artstyle way more than the previous iteration- oh wait nvm it's a different one. :v
I think I remember the movie showing that Greg wasn't the most nice person, but I don't remember him being this rude, as seen in the mod. Still love the songs though.
@stevennguyen6529 I used to read the books when I was younger, and saw one, two movies tops, and I think I have a special Diary of a Wimpy Kid book at a book fair once, forgot what it's called. I'm 22, and I recently see clips of the 2020s films.
He absolutely can be that rude, but he does have his moments as well as times where even though he is a jerk in how he goes about it, you can see his point.

This kind of reminds me of outback from the funkin peanuts mod, the names are similar see: Paper-back Out-back And not to mention the start of the song slowly turns towards them as they sing. I dont know if its a coincidence or if they are inspired from each other?
